But it is a wonderful idea because Bitcoin can be seen as a great gift and it may be even better if you give it with a hardware wallet together or send to the mobile so the person sees the app and wants to learn and use it too.

I think that a gift is something personal and we must be sure the other person would like to own cryptocurrencies and learn how to use them so perhaps we can give crypto and help the other person to learn how to use it too. And as such I would like you to imbibe and emulate such interesting and marvelous idea of using BTC as gift. Particularly with the intention to attract, influence or convince someone to join the world of crypto currency. Cryptocurrency is currently developing and i believe in the future we shall see people receiving Cryptocurrency as gift especially when Cryptocurrency dominate the world because just as you said many people do not even believe in cryptocurrency.
