What Happened To Facebook And Twitter Cryptocurrencies?

Recommended Posts

Hello my friends.

We haven't heard anything about the biggest social medias online and their cryptocurrencies that they provided.

What happened to them? Are they dead currencies now?

Libra got stuck because of the opposition in regulatory framefork. There has always been huge possibility that it doesn't launch at all because it needs a permission to do so, unlike bitcoin for example.

And to my best knowledge, decentralized twitter project is a long process, and in the research stage, it's unsure how it works or does it contain any incentive (coin) build into it.

I haven't heard or read anything about Facebook crypto currency, Libra. And about Twitter currency, it haven't been launched yet and I think it will take a long time to be launched.

Twitter haven't launched its cryptocurrency yet and yes Facebook has launched its libra coin but it's now comes even close to people expectations, so it's dead automatically.

I think what happened is those platforms are centralized, so it is hard for them adapting to a decentralized world.

No, I guess that. I think that working on it now is postponed until this crisis ends and this epidemic is spread out. There are two powerful companies that I don’t think their digital currency will die because in the near future they may depend to use it in the payment process for their offers or something like that.

these cryptocurrencies have not yet come out and they are under development, we can only wait, they will only be dead when there is no demand for them when they are available to everyone in the market.

At the moment they not approved the cryptocurrencies on social media due to some things or reasonable problem.

All we can do is to wait or read some news regarding that.

Yes some online crypto currency like Libra is not active for today. Because some issue arises in thin type of coin. While in Twitter I read some news that they have plan to launch their own coin. But for me some of this coin may failed because they are stable coins.

Hi friend, I think Twitter has not still decided to dive into the cryptocurrency world with its own Blockchain project with the supporting cryptocurrency. In the case of Facebook's Libra project, I think it is also in the phase of development.

Cryptocurrencies are now the future of a developed world. As we know that twitter and facebook both are the face of social medias. Through this social media platforms people will be much more aware about the use of cryptocurrencies. So as of now if the crypto currencies get a good number of popularity then that will attract these social medias. Maybe soon these platforms will be involved with crypto currencies.

These cryptocurrencies have not yet been released in circulation and facebook, twitter, they are not in circulation to start trading. You need to wait a bit before they are published and follow the news chronicles. To these cryptocurrencies, I would include the TON cryptocurrency, which is very promising.

Soon they will be releasing their cryptocurrency how they can transact through the current and think that cryptocurrency will create a means of communication between all countries.

If from my research, Twitter is more profitable and better than this. because they free the users to put any information and many crypto accounts there. it's not too difficult for them and it will sell well in the crypto market.

I don't think it is good enough to be installed in the crypto market. They are coins that came late, I have not heard about before, and if Facebook really wants to launch cryptocurrencies, why did we see Mark Zuckerberg with one of his pictures holding a bit of Bitcoin in his hand, is he with or against Bitcoin?

I don't think there was any Twitter crypto-currency news released in the past either. There were rumours but nothing substancial. It might even take 4 years for a news release.

About Libra, it was stalled, especially with the latest conditions, but it will be released at some point, although Facebook and libra foundation are still trying to convince the US first.

I don't know about Twitter. And Facebook is working on its own coin. I believe their coin will come to the market sooner or later. It's only a matter of time.

I think that their projects regarding their cryptocurrencies were not successful and that is why we have not heard any new news about the matter through Facebook or Twitter.
