For me the best coin to mine that will give you profit is bitcoin, you can really earn profit from mining bitcoin if you have free electricity, because in mining the electricity will really cost you too much. so if you are living in a country which electricity is really not that expensive, then you can really earn profit.

I have some friends talk about monero is a good coins for mining and they make a good profit but personally i don't trust in mining because i don't have the capability to mine it's cost to much for me but really i love to do that may be in the future

Currently for mining purpose.

I can give a recommendation to mining Ravencoin. Because their project is clear. Also the supply is limited like Bitcoin, where total supply to mining is around 21 milllion. The marketcap and volume in my opinion is good. Also for the price is really cheap.

I have a 8 gpu mining rig with Intel Processeur Kaby Lake - Core i5-7600K - 3.8GH  and AMD 580 Nitro+ 8Gb.  I get 235 Mh/s on Ethash algo (with overclocking). The 2 past years wasn't so good for mining.... Best coins to mine with AMD gpus are Ethereum and Ethereum Classic but with 4gb memory on your cpu you will not be able for longterm mining due to the growing DAG size... I recommand you to mine 2 or 3 different coins at the same time.

 

GPU: use Ethash mining algo for dual mining = ETH+Decred / ETH+Siacoin / ETH+Verge / ETH+Pascal / ETH+Lbry...

 

CPU: use CryptoNight  mining algo (and its variants) to mine Electroneum / Monero / Verium......

 

By doing this you will produce 3 coins at the same time. 

 

I think CryptoTab browser can be good for you in cpu mining (easy, just open the tab and press start mining button) but do not use it for web surfing.

 

You can also use Staking (POS algo) to mine even more coins to maximize your earning.

If you can not take mining professionally i do not think any coin would be beneficial for you to mine. But if you can afford powerful pc and if you use it just to mine than it could give you benefit no matter what coin you are mining.
