Difference between BTC and LTC

Hey my intelligent friends I have a question 

We always use BTC and LTC in crypto currency for trade. We also know BTC and LTC both are coins. But what is the actual difference between these two coins. Please give a useful opinion.

Litecoin LTC is one of the Altcoin other than oldest Bitcoin. You can find some difference between these two cryptocoins in the crypto world. Bitcoin is highly expensive than litecoin in the cryptocurrency market. And litecoin uses its own blockchain.

There are many differences why bitcoin is different from LTC. First of all, these are trading volumes on exchanges of exchanges. Then the price, bitcoin is much more expensive than LTC.

Litecoin uses Scrypt mining algorithm while Btc uses SHA-256. Also Litecoin is mostly being used for testing bitcoin implementations because the codebase is so similar. And there are tons of other stuff like litecoin blocktime is 2.5 minutes while bitcoin has 10 minutes etc...

Bitcoin is more popular than Litecoin and also the price play a high role about the value. but technology might make it a better currency for spending. and Litecoin transaction is fastest than Bitcoin transaction.

There is not much more difference. Bitcoin is most popular and valuable cryptocurrency. And LTC is not much more valuable as it has low price and bitcoin is the first crypto currency.

The actual difference between Bitcoin and Litecoin is that Bitcoin is the original idea and implementation of P2P electronic cash, while Litecoin is just a copy paste of the code. Charlie Lee with his limited coding abilities managed to clone Bitcoin and create a copy of it, with 2-3 different options and created hype that it is digital silver. 

The options Charlie changed had to do with the maximum Litecoin supply, which is 4 times bigger than Bitcoin, and with the average block generation time. After Litecoin many devs cloned Bitcoin and created their own versions and their own blockchains.

Well, it is very simple, litecoin was a first fork of bitcoin, that means ltc took bitcoin technology as a base to build its own. I also believe litecoin would reach new high.

LTC is forked of BTC. But its also mined thru GPU same as ETH, I believe ETH and LTC are ASIC resistant which is why BTC miners can't mine them. 

 

The reason why LTC because popular because LEE the creator is a Chinese and the Chinese love betting LTC on casinos. Because of it LTC became valuable. Years ago, there was an Litecoin forum, much like bitcointalk but suddenly disappear though.

There is no big difference between Bitcoin and Litecoin except that Bitcoin controls the Litecoin price and the strength and volume of trading between the two currencies is different.

What different you want . Technically i think  there is no different between LTC and BTC. But we have a different like bitcoin is really expansive than LTC really expansive, and also bit is famous more than LTC , many people know about bitcoin but the didn’t heard about bitcoin.

The btc broke and ltc was separated i have read this, and ltc and btc are quite similar but the price is completely different and the ltc is also doing good in altcoins section.  Other difference is their high and low popularity.

Difference between this two coin is quite relevant. Bitcoin is the oldest coin with highest value and litecoin is after added currency with less value than bitcoin. So the both coin has same value. But maybe the bitcoin is above all coin in the market and also it has a great investment value.
