How would Bitcoin halving affect other coins?

We all know that the bitcoin halving will affect bitcoin price positively, but what about other coins, especially that all will sell their coins to invest in bitcoin

 

Additional question, after the halving may 2020, when would the bull market init.

The big reason to why the price must and will rise is to compensate for the miner reward as mining costs will increase.

It is hard to predict such things. I think bitcoin halving will result in its volume to decrease in the crypto market and this is not a good thing even if the price rises to compensate for halving. When the volume of a coin goes down, the number of buys or sells will reduce significantly and that means fewer people will turn to bitcoin for trading and this may have a negative effect on its price.

When the market volume of a coin decreases, people may turn to other coins with higher volumes but which coins will have higher volume is something that yet to be seen in 2020.

The worst consequence of bitcoin halving is for miners because block reward will halve too.

So you think the bitcoin halving would affect the other coins positively is that right? But people would be selling other coins to invest in BTC how is that?

I think the sudden decline of Bitcoin will have an impact on other coin markets and it may be good or even worse, but I think there is no chance of anyone getting loss From better values and after 2020 I think Bitcoin will go back to a better palce  and so on  We will all have to be patient so that the price will increase more and more

Well, if you look at other coins during the previous halving of bitcoin, you can see a large increase in other coins, for example, Etherium has grown from $ 50 to $ 200 per joke, so most likely all the coins will also grow with bitcoin.

same effect as we saw when bitcoin went from 3k to almost 14k we saw most coins crashing hard and losing value daily some coins even went down 60% in matter of month, but its only strong coins that will survive the next bull run of bitcoin.

Actually the price of other alt coins are depended on the price of bitcoin. I guess if the price of bitcoin rises then the price of other coins will rise also. Everyone has their own taste of cryptocurrency though.

Bitcoin has a pairing system on many exchanges, which has a huge impact on the price of other coins with Bitcoin price, and Bitcoin is the main coin, so other coins are affected with the price of Bitcoin.

Well I think bitxoin halving will not big a big issue for coins with big volume because they can come back now matter how low they go but if we see a bull run before halving then a lot of small cap coins will be dumped to oblivion.

You have stated a good point there, it is true that the impact of the halving could go sideways, because there is no logic explanation on why price tend to rise after the halving.

Bitcoin halving affect the price of bitcoin alot in the shape this that its price will be increase more and i think it is bitcoin and other coins have deep relation with each other so when the price of bitcoin will rise because of halving then other coins will also go to rise.

The altcoins price might be affected by bitcoin halving because all altcoins are compared with bitcoin and USD, but USD cannot affect them cause it don't have massively price changes like bitcoin and cryptocurrency.

Price fluctuations at that point will be inevitable. I think bitcoin forks will follow the equivalent of its price. With the growth of the price of bitcoin, I believe altcoins especially old ones such as LTC, DASH, DOGE, etc. will not fall and may rise.

I think some altcoins will be affected by halving, some will follow the trend of bitcoin and some will go down, depending on how they are going to go. From some previous halving history such as it took about 6 months for the market to enter the bullish trend after halving.

bitcoin a ton in the shape this that its cost will build more and I think it is bitcoin and different coins have a profound connection with one another so when the cost of bitcoin will rise, and I'm trusting that we can see again the bullish of cryptos when bitcoin splitting occasion happen. I hope it does have a positive effect on the price, but I'm sure that it won't have the effect people exoect. The recent halving on LTC did not have the effect people expected at all. The LTC had been bought way in advance of the halving and then the price actually declined. Despite everyone saying it would go up x2. I think buying BTC now based on the halving having a huge effect is not a good idea. But I still think lots of people will do it in hope. I think whatever happens with BTC the altcoins will follow one way or another as they normally do. Maybe a couple will break away like Doge did earliest this year.

That sounds correct to me, I think that some coins especially the new ones will fall massively while the top ones rises along with Bitcoin.
