No, you are not wrong. If you take a look at CoinMarketCap data in previous years, you will see the minimum price in each year has been increased gradually and I think it is unlikely that we see values of around $3000 for bitcoin in the future because it seems that anywhere between $5000 and $6000 is the new bottom-low price for bitcoin these days even in the worst possible situation. But we should also consider the fact that these values are average numbers and we might notice lower prices in some days temporarily.

We could say bitcoin is growing every year but we are not sure that bitcoins lowest point is getting higher year by year. Because in this year bitcoin has fallen more than last year. And bitcoin's lowest point is lower than last two years. It is only possible if bitcoin would rise constantly.

Mate, price volatility for Bitcoin is common.
