Bitcoin’s lightning network might have a use case beyond faster and more scalable payments.

Last week Lightning Labs developer Joost Jager revealed an experimental, new proof of concept: Whatsat, a version of lightning that can be used to send private messages.

Like bitcoin, it’s censorship-resistant. But, unlike encrypted apps that morph messages into unreadable, garbled text to keep messages from prying eyes, there’s no central entity to stop users from employing the network.

Jager told CoinDesk:

“Lightning is a peer to peer network in which anyone can participate. There is no central entity that has the ultimate power to decide on [what] users are allowed to communicate.”

If this will be used the third party and it will be manages than you don,t need to be used because if you do used this than they can do any thing with your account, just used the secure and exchanges and also invest in the old and real exchanges which is so much good.

Bitcoin lighting is a upgrade version of bitcoin network. Now we can make transaction more faster than before. Soon we can access it in offline. We can make make maximum transaction in a time.

As i know about lightining network i am sharing to you. Bitcon lighnitining is a upgrade version of bitcon previous network. It's more faster. We can even access it in offline. But there are some bugs in this network. Developers should fix this.

I didn't see a good arguments that bitcoin can be laid in the development of some messaging app, however I believe that ripple is a good crypto for those kind of projects.
