The thing that we can do is to pay more attention when performing encryption transactions and to make sure that the transactions are correct to avoid this error again

@ETheHedgehog I know About this, some YouTuber say that this is test on transcation ( may be owner of Etherium chain ) .

anyway I always set gas fee's manually ( specially in Case of Etherium ) as a result I will never faces any problems likes this . we must be double check our fee's before going to make any transaction .

Yes thanks I read it and it is very costly mistake perhaps the person that did it maybe feels very bad now and I am sad for this that happened. Thank you for the infromation about the ethereum too I never thought there can't be a limit and allow this.

I will consider it a lesson and always make a double check. Well, it already happens, yes I will regret it at first. But it doesn't mean that I will quit. Instead, I will find different ways to cover up the lost and earn much more.

I read about this in the past and there are many that think it wasn't an accident, the wallet was found to belong to a korean exchange and perhaps they were attacked as I read by a hacker. But it is anyway a big loss for this acount and a big profit for the ethereum miners that mined this transactions.

In the world of money, it is very possible that serious mistakes will occur, but we do not stop investing in money .. also in cryptocurrencies there are mistakes that can occur and this should not make us stop investing in them again, but we must be very careful in conducting transactions.

Thats losing serious and its important that we are very careful in what we are doing the right idea is to really be good in the work we are doing this work is to always ensure that we are  building up a security panel for ourselves , and this is why its important we can be careful before we submit , thats the only case.

This is not exactly known what happened but if it was a mistake by one person that cost two million then this person will have to consider not touching money again. He is rich if he moves this money and he has more, perhaps he should hire someone to manage his money and crypto.

I also read this news. And this was error of blockchain system at that time. But the sender was also fool that he didn't even see how much fee he is paying. We should be careful while making transactions by checking the address, fee etc.

This is a question that is difficult to answer because 2 million is money that we probably will never have and if we had anywhere near this we wouldn't discuss it in a forum. Personally I feel bad when I lose one dollar so it would be very bad.

i believe it happened before to someone with a bit less than that something below $1 million range and he also was able to contact the company and recovered half of it.

No doubt, this is huge amount lost.

-Directing this question to me personally, I will not quite and leave the world of Crypto currency, rather to just take a break. Because if I should lost such kind of large amount, by then I still have more than 100× of what I lost in my account.

This is a big mistake and I have never had such an error before. When I want to send a transaction, I check the balance, the return address and the fees more than once before confirming the transaction because it is difficult to retract it

I think later, the owner was came out and was confirmed. Probably I read it somewhere.

If you are being careful enough, this huge mistake wouldn't be at all especially as it involves such large amount. 

We are all human after all, if it does happen, I will do the same; contact the miners company involved in validating the transaction. Even if it means sacrificing some amount, it is better than loosing everything.

One day I encountered an error similar to this one where I sent some Ethereum coins to the wrong address because the address was not verified before completing the sending process, but that didn't stop me from continuing to work I went back to work, but I started to check the addresses well before completing any transaction, so my advice to everyone is to check their addresses first of all.

A mistake that cost more so much is a very bad one and the person that made it need to consider a lot about what he is doing. Unless it was a whale playing with his billions and 2 million will not matter a lot, but even if this was what happened he should feel very bad and it can be a lot better for him to quit.

There are so many possibilities of losing money on crypto industry so it is normal. But it is very huge amount of money so if that will happened to me I guess I need to work hard again in crypto to achieve or to reach that amount of money again. Cryptos are very easy to do, you just need to be consistent.

If I mistakenly send huge amount of ETH to wrong address. That day will be the saddest day of my life  because I loose a huge amount of ETH but that will not let me quite my crypto business. I will considered the loss as a lesson then any time I want to make transaction I tripped check the address to ensure the address is correct so that I will not make such mistake again.
