  1. The opportunity you gain from cryptotalk is that you can have a decent place to relax and discuss about crypto , learn a few things in the process and maybe you can earn some small prize for when you are writing a post that is clear and is giving correct information.
  2. Don't make useless posts, don't write very small posts that only take you half a minute to finish but put effort in this and do it as if you want to have the top mark in exams, be perfect with your information and write in good english, this will help you, tagging others won't this is not a good approach and I wouldn't want to get tagged without a good reason.
  3. It is all logic but the whole crypto market for someone that just joined doesn't look logical at all, there is a very thin line to recognize what is a scam and what is not, and the speculation is extreme so it is possible that any beginner may find it difficult to recognize a true investment from a fake one.
  4. Useful advice from me too, start reading posts that are better than all these posts that contain advice, you are here to learn and to be part of the forum, give your advice and your experience, not to just read posts about reading the rules, which is something that has been said in too many posts already.
  5. If you face this problem then it is probably has to do with your computer and system, or your mobile device, whichever you are using, if you are on a PC look at your browser settings as probably you have set it to clean active sessions and cookies when exiting, same for mobile devices there are features in your browser you may need to adjust.
  6. You are talking about two different networks. Tether is also in the OMNI blockchain and as I've read in even more. Also BNB, EOS, TRX and many more blockchains started being ERC20 tokens, of course you have to think again before making a mistake like that, but most of the exchanges and wallets will automatically correct you as they will spot the different wallet you will be trying to use. Most will not allow you to send ERC20 to Tron, I don't know if there is any wallet that will do that.
  7. I will take some time later and read the article, I hope to find something useful for Tezos, as I am interested in decentralization and anything else seem to be vulnerable, as we have seen in the case of Ripple and XRP, and how a company running a currency can easily be taken down in just hours.
  8. Gold is not for us. How can we invest in gold, we can't even find a proper way. I have tried to find and you need to buy from a bank and pay very higher prices from the market to cover for their fees. And when you decide to sell you will have to sell at a very lower price from the market. Also you have to take the gold physically and be responsible to safeguard it. This is not a good way to store our wealth in my opinion and the risk is too high to hide gold at any place.
  9. The impact in the market was coming from before the elections, as there was a climate of investing opportunity into Bitcoin since the summer of last year, with many new investors appearing out of nowhere and investing hundreds of millions, something that was probably the first time for Bitcoin to witness, the volumes were extraordinary and helped Bitcoin to reach double from the previous all time high. The American elections had nothing to do with this.
  10. What are the super low fees of Kucoin I wonder. Binance offers 10% but you have to hold BNB, is this the same with Kucoin? The hack proven that exchanges should be for trading only, not even staking, they are not worth it. Kucoin somehow was having a lot of traffic but I wasn't using it and wasn't affected by the hack. It is best ot have a strategy that involves potential hacks in all the exchanges you use, so you won't be caught by a surprise if anything happens.
  11. The mining machines are not called hashing powers. They produce hash power that serves the Bitcoin network. As said in the post they are called ASICs. Coming from Application Specific Integrated Circuit. This is easy to understand what they do once you read the four words. It is a circuit just made to mine Bitcoin and other coins that are clones of Bitcoin.
  12. Some crypto organizations are trying to enter the banking sector in order to find better liquidity and support cryptocurrency adoption, as the banking system was always against Bitcoin, except perhaps the last few months that some banks have completely changed their view of Bitcoin and even support it.
  13. I think that Yobit just announced BTC investbox with 0.1-1% daily reward again! This is remarkable, I will have to check the rules and do calculations to find how much can we earn daily from this, only in yobit such high yield farming.
  14. Android is great for everything, I just hope that Google will not break this technology as it is getting ready to break everything they run with their lack of security and inability to become versatile. I don't own an ios device and never tried to see if it is better for cryptotalk but if you say so I can't disagree, perhaps you are right.
  15. You should not plan to have increased reputation, in fact yobit and the forum have algorithms that are automatically finding those that have higher reputation than expected and are banning them. Try to write as good as possible and make good content, this is the only way you will receive some reputation in perhaps 50% or a little more of your posts.
  16. I have seen the reactions declined a lot recently and there was a big reason as many were given by members in very bad posts that should have negative reaction instead, but after that there was very little reactions given, with result to have extremely low Bitcoin payments even for some top posts and replies, I hope that this will change and members will react only according to the value of the topic and replies they read.
  17. Bakkt and the interests behind it as well as the people involved and their operations made me very sceptical that they treat Bitcoin as a way for other results they wanted to achieve, I am glad the elections weren't favoring the bakkt leadership and some people should know better that the Bitcoin community has some very bright people that find easily what happens. Whatever Bakkt did, or CME it didn't help Bitcoin as some people thought it would, it was another way of speculate on Bitcoin however it wasn't a way to invest as perhaps only Grayscale made this happen.
  18. If there is no information in the yobit pannel for altcoins then you will not find anywhere else for this coin, it is probably a coin used in yobit and could have been one of the earlier and in a similar way with DLRS lost all price because of excessive investbox usage.
  19. Ethereum technology has introduced smart contracts in blockchain, something that was the first platform to do and enabled this way thousands of new projects to begin having the stability and security of the ethereum network and build from there, however too many scam tokens appeared especially during the ICO and Defi seasons that made it look housing too many scams.
  20. The only reason most of us ever bought altcoins it was to trade them and wait for a pump, there are many that have a use case but most of them don't have a lot to offer, so I'm sticking with the altcoins that have a future and not even following anything I see that seem to be just for a temporary pump.
  21. This was a lot of reading, I guess you have made some very correct points and in my opinion there is not one exchange that is best, each exchange have some differences that could be about the location, the ease to withdraw, the ease to trade and other investing opportunities. I use Yobit of course, and a few others but have seen many, some were looking very bad and the most important for me it was the delay when withdrawing with having to audit even $20 in Xrp withdrawal. Yobit doesn't have that, it is instant in all our actions and makes you feel you have the control. The rest exchanges show to you they are in charge and you are not valued so much.
  22. It is very easy to understand the investbox, in fact I learned it very quickly as it was perfectly explained and very methodically, the only thing that I wondered about was the DS rolls that I had to ask, and got the reply it was the dice rolls. I profited from the investbox probably at a very good rate so far.
  23. It should be trusted, but then again everything may have problems or vulnerabilities at times, many have used changenow so far without problems and it can be trusted at the same level all exchanges are to be trusted.
  24. We can thank Yobit and Cryptotalk by keep giving high quality posts with our experience and correct details, this is the way to help the forum and I have seen lately an effort being made by most members to raise our posts to a level of being professional and containing our expertise knowledge.
  25. Yobit has mining and it was successful but at some point the minex rewards went too low in price, maybe a reset is possible, however I think that if you do the calculations there can still be some profit.
