I wonder if they offer custodial service for that or is it a normal bitcoin wallet where you own your own privatekey?

Because i am thinking they couldn't afford to set that pressure on customers and they would hold the actual privatekeys themselves.

I agree, this is a huge step for adoption, although I would love to read on these news that they actually provide the private keys to the user, and that the bank isn't acting as a middle man. If the bank is in total control of the wallet, this wouldn't be exciting and it would actually mean that most of Bitcoin's advantages are cancelled by this bank.

This is a beautiful step taken by the Italian government in starting this project by adding Bitcoin to the payment methods available to them. I think they are considering creating a digital currency of their own since they have included their digital currencies

What this bank has done is very great and evidence of its knowledge of the value of bitcoin and what it will be able to achieve in the future. All banks must apply this mechanism and add bitcoin currency to their applications and allow people to buy and sell the currency
