This is true, the bigger you invest the bigger your income will if your lucky, but i think if your investing a lot of money i think for me i will split them, into by buying 5 different coins like ethereum, litecoin, bitcoin, ripple and for the last one monero.

I'd like to suggest you to divide it into different coins because you and nobody knows what is gonna be in future, which altcoin will go up and which will go down. I'd recommend you such coins as BTC, ETH, Tron, Nano.

If you do that then the risk will be big too. It might be better to diversify investments, which some you can put on other investments. This is just a view, but investing in one thing is a big risk, even though it can make a big profit.

Well to divide your portfolio in 2 or 3 coina depends on the amount of your portfolio because if its too little thwn there is no reason to split it into many coins..I sometimes go all in on one coin when it has really good news.

I am not a fan of going all in. I like to diversify my investments. So I will go and I will invest less than 5% in each coin and from a diversified portfolio profit when the coins go up. Some coins will fail, yes, but some will do well. If you go all in on one coin and it does poorly then you will have lost everything, and this is not what I want in my crypto experience. I want to be flexible and forward thinking instead of rigid and only one coin invested in.

If I have $ 5,000 I would choose not to invest with just one coin.  Because we will never know which ones are up and those that go up with good profits.  But I will choose coins which are good, of course.  (some of the best coins)

in my opinion its better not to invest in just one coin , you can invest in several coins because the amount of your investment is quite a lot , so it will get a bigger profit you can try on several coins like BTC , XRP , ADA and DOGE maybe that recoomendation is i can recommend.

$5000 is a huge amount for the investor if you want invest I suggest that not buy single coin buy with portfolio its mean buy various coin like XRP, NRG,XEM,EOS its will be benefited then buy single coin.
