Biggest reason behind most of the people thinking that Crypto is a gambling is lack of knowledge. People don't know how to trade. They think that it's just like lottery or a game of rummy. But I will probably this agree this type of people

Yes, the outline that you said is true, cryptocurrency will be considered gambling in the context of trading if trading without knowledge, just as cryptocurrency will be considered gambling in the context of investment if we make investments without clear plans, observations and management, both of them provide conclusions, that if we want to be serious in the world of cryptocurrency then study cryptocurrency first before we use money for speculation or blind trading (trading without enough knowledge).

I know the reason. They see their friends and people around them to invest in crypto based on luck and guess. After a while, some of them will earn and the others will lose heavily. When they see their friends earning and losing, they think crypto is like a game of chess with winners and losers. They don't understand it is just a trading job like stock and Forex. They also hear a lot about people being hacked and funds being stolen because social media is full of negative news. So, they form a bad attitude towards crypto based on what they hear not what they read. Gaining information from people can be very misleading. It is better to experience crypto based on your own research and study.

Indeed most people don't actually have the time to figure out how to earn from cryptocurrencies so they just avoid it. They've also been told by the media that crypto is used for illegal purposes and not want to get involved for this reason as well.
