No one actually know who is Satoshi Nakamato and he is alive or not. After bitcoin introduction in the market many people research about it. And found that Satoshi Nakamato named person create it. But no one can provide any proof of information.

No, the miners will not disappear. If the miners disappear, the bitcoin network will stop working, but the miners will not receive the mining reward, which is currently 12.5 bitcoins per block, which will be halved after the halving soon.

Personally I hope he is alive and well while being wealthy enough to at least enjoy the rest of his life. Although I think that he doesn't have access to the 1 million Bitcoins he apparently mined, or he is extremely afraid of his identity being exposed if he ever moves them. Basically one of his last conversations with Gavin Andresen was about Gavin talking to the FBI about Bitcoin. Once he was informed about this he disappeared. Although there is a chance that his disappearance was planned as well. 

On topic now of the age of Satoshi, it is believed that he was born in 5th April 1975, because that was the date he used to register in the P2Pfoundation webpage. I'm of the opinion that he was probably born between 1970-1975 although I doubt that he would ever use his real birthday to register on any online service.
