This is not a good news even its not a huge amount but stolen coins can always have negative impact on the market, the should be some kind of online police for cryptocurrency that is created and funded by the community. This wil help stop these hackers.

For me it is a huge amount and they should really report it to the police. That money was earned by someone who worked hard to get it. They shouldn't let it go to waste.

It is even possible that this is just provocative news, so that as few people as possible trust the cryptocurrency

it's not new when hackers stoles a big amount of bitcoins and we can not trace those hackers by seeing their address, this is crypto world. Nowadays we should careful now because  there are many fake wallets, fake sites, fake airdrops, they just want to steal your cryptos.

It's a bad news and so sad to the owner of Bitcoins worth $40,000 huge amount of money gone because of the scammers. Why people scam i think this is a new begginer who want to earn a big amount money. They have not enough knowledge about Bitcoins so that they scam easily.

I was surprised by the incident of a hacker who was able to steal bitcoin. should be between wallets and exchangers designed with a high level of security to avoid this and also to protect their users. if hacking still occurs, I suspect it is a mere alibi.

Actually wallets can't be hacked. Hackers mostly hack exchanges. So, the owners of exchanges must be aware of this issue and govt. can also play a role here

Governments are not involved in this matter. For me, I have not encounter these loss yet. Better if we tighten up our security on our wallets because of these circumstances and prevent it from happening to us.

In my personal view, government can not do control this crime of digital theft since some government don't recognize bitcoin as legal, the only way we can protect our self is to be cautions to different website that we visit, installing anti virus will some how help ease the problem,

as sayings goes: "guard your own rank"

What hackers couldn’t steal anymore. Today you need to think about the security of a cryptocurrency wallet and be on the lookout.

$40000 or equal to approximately 5 btc from the current price isn't too big amount although the hackers sold their bitcoin but generally the price will not be dumped because of that but indeed regardless of the price then the hackers always be aiming crypto users to stole our funds and all we have to do is more carefully

yeah i think $ 40000 is too little for dumping bitcoin. and isn't usually a hacker (cracker) stealing more than that? why does he only steal a little? I think it's funny😂

Governments don´t need to take action, if they do they will tax the tokens to death, steal most tokens for themselves, and distribute worthless tokens among the proletariat, just enough so you can eat, sometimes, but not enough so you get any ideas. Crypto is about freedom not communism.

It's very sad news for cryptocurrency world.I also seen a news that was

Two thieves at a Canadian grocery store swiped $4,000 from a Bitcoin (BTC) ATM but forgot to check the second canister, leaving $50,000 behind.

source: https://cointelegraph.com/news/canada-thieves-steal-4k-from-bitcoin-atm-leave-50k-untouched/amp

well thats just another reason to tell us that we dont need bitcoin ATMs because it would be the dumbest thing we did in crypto after investing in BCC...crypto ATMs are very dangerous

Hackers always have many ways to do the action. security must be tightened again so that scammers cannot penetrate and break into it. I hope the government will take part in this matter.

Unfortunately, it happens more and more often than usual. Try to teach people about wallet security issues. But the problem is that it often happens to companies that supposedly have great security protocols. And yes, this kind of news makes the new members move away.

I am also agree with you it think there was any fault with the owner so the coin is stolen. mainly all should secured his wallet first and then he should not worry about any loss.

I don't think it's a big deal for bitcoin. It will cover soon. But crypto market has small fund. It can also affect the market little bit.

Actually I do not think so. Because that is not easy to do. Also like impossible. Because Bitcoin use digital blockchain technology which is too much secure. That's it.

If you are asking that government should take action on stolen bitcoins or provide security from these thefts. Then government would like to control the whole crypto market. Because in free government would not take any action. And if crypto would be centralized then we would lost our freedom.
