  1. And with the succesful progress of bitcoin today who else will think that it will suffer a downfall? If ever that will happen same thinking will be put on the bitcoin users and that is, it will pull down also the alts.Im really not a fanatic of ETH as being one of the good contenders but I trades ETH to for profit purposes. Yes it has been kicking to the point that it surpass the LTC but still not a factor to replace bitcoin even for decades to come.

  3. I don't believe in that. Altcoins are made for one purpose and that is not to replace bitcoin but rather for profit purposes. If in the first place the purpose was to beat what bitcoin can do, why the main purpose is to kick it's price? Yes price really matters for community to hug that altcoin then just think of the technology later, but the difference is, in most of the alts, no such thing of that kind of purpose are exposed even with those alts that running for couple of years now.
  4. There are definitely altcoins that are able to do some things better than Bitcoin can, but due to the lack of a community backing the altcoins it is typically increasingly difficult for the alts to gain any foothold within the community before it turns into a pump and dump from speculators. There is very little chance that a new alt would be able t succeed in the first place.
  5. I agree, and I think there will be no cryptocurrency at this point that can replace bitcoin. Comparatibly, most of this altcoin are just pump and dump coin, and not even one come close to bitcoin useability, adoptibility, user base and alot more. So no alternae cryptocurrenncyt can replace bitcoin for onemain readasoon, people adoption.
  6. bitcoin can not be replaced in anything, all cryptocurrency, because in my opinion, every crypto currency has unique in the foundations and its can not compare each other and we all know, bitcoin is a like mother, and other cryptocurrency is like the child.but its maybe happen if bitcoin has something bad happen, i can't give example. so for time to time, bitcoin will be bitcoin, and other crypto currency will be crypto currency.
  7. But only a handful of those miners are still holding their bitcoins. Most of them sold their bitcoins for a pizza. As the price rises, the more they dumped. That's why i tell you it was a natural distribution. If you predicted that bitcoin would reach 1000$ or even 500$ in the future would you buy a pizza for thousands of bitcoins? For those who still hold their coins from the start, well they won the lottery. They deserved it well. With new altcoins, now everybody holds them as many as they can while they are cheap. And they exactly know what's going to happen when the ride is over. Thats not natural at all.
  8. I disagree with you about the distribution part. In its early day only a few people are mining bitcoin. so basically majority of bitcoin is owned by some people. So i think the distribution pattern is the same with altcoin. Anyway i think if there is a coin that will surpass bitcoin base user then it will most likely to replace bitcoin. As of now i have seen none yet.
  9. I am a bit afraid of Monero power too but is needed. More anonymity is needed in the crypto world. I don't think that it will replace bitcoin, we have seen Ethereum before claiming to be the best thing and that it had a bright future yet they got hacked and a major flaw in its security protocol were breaked. Now it is fixed but this tells us that Bitcoin hardly can be replaced by any other crypto currency. And even if that happens we switch to the new one but this for me is not going to happen.
  10. We did not know it and no one woul know. As for me no other cryptocurrency could replace bitcoin as of now. Bitcoin is the first and the most famous cryptocurrency today. It could be surpassed but it cannot be erase or terminate bitcoin as it is the most used cryptocurrency. But it could be possible if other cryptocurrency could have many supporters as bitcoin have on these days. Well its a normal human nature that we always switch too the best option just like we switch from the faint money system to this vertual money system but i don't think i will leave bitcoin usage just from any altcoin because its priced crossed bitcoin price
  11. ETH is never even close to replacing BTC with it's fake pump and dump schemes. There's no alt that's ever close to becoming the 'next big crypto' that can match bitcoin, considering the support bitcoin has, the community, and the usability. So, until another alien kind of touch occurs, we need not to worry. Any crypro based new things will be under bitcoin system only.
  12. The algorithm used in BTC for data or something similar is apparently going to be obsolete in about 30 years, that's a lot of time, and i think that if enough work is done, Bitcoin can still work with the main components being there. As of now i agree with you, but things always change, and something big could happen that absolutely destroys BTC for some reason.
  13. yes so many other people were also thinking like that, but bitcoin proved that it is the best and number one crypto currency in the world. although anything is possible and another crypto currency can take place of bitcoin, but in present time or in near future it is very difficult because still people are showing trust on bitcoin and new people are entering in the world of bitcoin. they are investing their fiat currency in bitcoin therefore the position of bitcoin getting more stronger and stronger.
  14. It will be possible. Now you can see there is so many new coins introduced with more interest.Even if the the prices is not good yet, but, no one knows in 5 years later. If a coin with good strategy from developer make a good move in the market, bitcoin will have a good competitor.
  15. What is the development and progress happen to your stated coin since their commencement of operation? And take note, already years in the operation but still haven't reached even 5% (my own estimation) of what bitcoin is achieved. If bitcoin will be fail, all cryptos will suffer the same so no, bitcoin can't be replaced by another cryptocurrency. All altcoins are made to take profits for short term.
  16. hmm for me no because even bitcoin are banned in some country bitcoin will still use by user or investors to grow their money bitcoin now is becoming famous and some bitcoin wallet are now working to partner with some online store so that bitcoin can now use to buy online , and oneline store now are going to accept bitcoin as a payment
  17. There is always possibility for another cryptocurrency to take bitcoin place. I don't think there is such coin at this moment. People talk about dash, then ETH. For now they are far behind, and I don't think something can happen for them to come closer to bitcoin price and market cap.Who knows what future is bringing for everyone of us, maybe some new team make a good coin, and with big investments in marketing, promotions maybe some one can make coin big as bit coin. There is always possibility for another cryptocurrency to take bitcoin place. 18. It can happen. It is possible for other cryptocurrencies to replace Bitcoins, but nothing major in going to occur in the short-term. Bitcoin has a much higher market cap and price compared to various other cryptocurrencies. Therefore, I believe that BTC is going to stay in prime position for some time longer. Moreover, it is unlikely that BTC is replaced as the main cryptocurrency because everyone who is new to cryptocurrencies would think of Bitcoin. For example, when I was introduced, I thought that Bitcoin was the only cryptocurrency. (I am obviously wrong). Therefore, everyone would use Bitcoin rather than other cryptocurrencies. These are my opinions.
  19. Yeah I too don’t think so too, bitcoin won’t be replaced by any other cryptocurrencies at least in this century.Because bitcoin is now more well-known to the world than other coins and there are many people choose bitcoin as their cryptocurrency, other coins can hardly have the position that bitcoin has right now. So, it’s gonna be a steppingstone for other crypto coins to be like bitcoin.
  20. I don't think of a specific altcoin that will displace bitcoin from its current hegemony. I prefer to think that sooner rather than later will occur a conjunction of events that might make the bitcoin gradually lose its current value. Remember that even almighty technologic advances gradually were displaced like yahoo or IBM, so it is impossible to think that bitcoin will remain forever.
  21. You should use your sense, now Bitcoin is already Crypto currency, So why bitcoin need to change into an other crypto currency, Also lets take an example, now bitcoin has been changed into other crypto, so it is totally awful for bitcoin, because now Bitcoin has already achieved popular place than other crypto currencies and thats why people are trust it and use it. So i don't think it would be possible in future.
  22. Many of these altcoins are also paired with USD and other fiat currencies like EUR. that is no reason for bitcoin and not dying of it although i am saying the same thing bitcoin is not going to be replaced by these altcoins but the reason for it is those altcoins are not good enough to be able to take bitcoin place.
  23. It is possible but i don't think m-Eth or similar pump&dump scamcoins will succeed it. It can be done by only big companies like Microsoft, Apple, Google etc. Even if those companies wanted to have their own global currency, they need to make huge investments which may result in failing everything. That's why bitcoin needs to fail first to get replaced by something else. Only after that there will be a new one.
  24. i agree with you that a majority is ignorant and just focused on the price. but also they are the ones that suffer a lot from scams and hacks. and the best part is, then they scream the loudest that they where misinformed and tricked and nobody told them that .... and i don not mind that, but the problem is that they also give a lot of bad advice and information about bitcoin to other people. and that is sad and dangerous.
  25. I think it's safe to say that the majority of the people don't give a damn about the technology side of Bitcoin and other crypto currencies. They just focus on the price going up higher and higher so they can make money in a very short time. That's all they care about. For me personally the technology side of Bitcoin is very important because its decentralized nature allows us to store money outside the reach of banks and governments.
