Bitpay is also the one used to pay with bitcoin on namecheap.com website, if it is to be complemented on amazon, then maybe the rumors are true as you say.

I think that creating other ways to have other payment and exchanging method is great because it can expand the capabilities of bitcoins create new oppurtunities to be innovated.

Something like the Amazon store if buying and selling, I think that is actually very much appreciated for the ripple to be use as the Crypto payment coin, than the bitcoin, as basically the ripple is much faster than the Bitcoin and buying needs to be quick when doing trading as the use of bitcoin would be less efficient  than its reputation which It has

Ripple payments re very fast and they have very low transaction fees, which is what makes them so attractive. I think that bitpay already has this enabled in their wallet. But i do not believe that amazon has a direct payment option that allows you to make payments in terms of crypto on their site. Instead i think you have to use third party sites to make this happen. Therefore i think the first priority of amazing should be to introduce bitcoin and then they can move to ripple.
