  1. I love games but having one at a very high price and having to keep paying fees to play it won't be a good model for the gamer. Maybe if this game is addictive, it could make a lot of money to the developers but only at the expense of the gamers. This game probably isn't a serious one and why would someone pay so much money instead of selecting much better games that we have out there, and many of them are also free to play.
  2. I have read about Coinbase and how it collaborates closely with american authorities. It gives access to all data when asked and there are rumors about authorities having knowledge of all Coinbase accounts. I don't like having my money in an exchange like that and it doesn't make me feel better or more safe. It is an exchange and still can have problems. Also, I don't think criminals are using Coinbase as they are well aware of the relation with authorities.
  3. I recently read about the malware that is changing the send address into one of scammers and if we don't pay attention it will just change it when pasting. So, I consider it to be very important for all users of cryptocurrencies to be on the lookout always and recheck the addresses we send our crypto. High fees make me feel this market is still at a very early stage. I read about how Bitcoin and Ethereum when earlier they had very low fees, but currently the fees have exploded and are reducing these blockchains use case. Maybe having a coin that will solve this problem will be a better choice in the future.
  4. I've seen altcoins rising and then dropping too fast lately. I don't consider this to be healthy in a market and the results are mistakes from traders and money lost. Some of the altcoins today are valued too high in what is not just my opinion but common logic. Is Doge worth to have 10 billion marketcap? Ethereum is also too high priced, and it is 100% certain that ETH will see very lower prices again. I don't understand the altcoin market so I'm not paying a lot of attention. It is all a huge casino with altcoins. With Bitcoin it is a little different and we can make plans and analysis.
  5. I am sorry for you losing money with DLRS. I didn't hold my airdrop and sold it at the first day of trading, but for a while it performed amazing and given very good profit to those that believed in it. However, it was very poor later, and because of the high returns offered daily its price quickly evaporated.
  6. I was in denial for some time and I had the thoughts the market reached top at $40,000 but it all changed now. Bitcoin still has months before the bull run ends. Tesla and Elon Musk made sure that the bull run continues and resumed yesterday with price reaching $48000 as ATH. Now it seems possible that these predictions may become real in 2021 and we don't know if there will be a stop for Bitcoin's price.
  7. Taxation is important for a country in total and not just for the government and the elected parliament members. We elect these people to manage the finances of the nations and they usually forget they are the servants of the people and act on their own. Taxation is very important to keep the country running. A country needs infrastructure, health care, education system, defense budget and has high cost of running. In some countries taxation is extreme and this doesn't allow development of the economy, while it may have inequalities having the poor deal with most of the tax budget. Some countries have weak politicians that can't deal with these problems, while many could also be corrupt and being in politics for their personal gain. With cryptocurrencies there are a few that try to avoid paying taxes but it is proven already that in regulated environments cryptocurrency works well without problems.
  8. When a country is producing cheap electricity it will be very profitable to use it and profit, without wasting it. Electricity is difficult to store and many countries can produce it with very low cost. I am surprised they didn't already discover Bitcoin for all these years and the potential to profit.
  9. Since Ethereum fees are very high and no simple user can use this blockchain, it means another one that will be faster and cheap will take over its place. For the time being Ethereum is rooted in the minds of developers and most are also invested, however I don't see a future for Ethereum if there is not drastic changes in the way it is running. Maybe it will manage to bring fees very lower after two or three years, but until that moment another platform will take over. It is a big problem for many blockchain systems to be inefficient and not able to scale and if there appears a better choice it will probably overtake Ethereum. I don't know a lot about Polkadot, but I will not buy something so high in price just because it might one day after many years become useful.
  10. Scammers are attracted into a new market that has regulations issues and is running worldwide through the internet, without many governments monitoring. It is however not hard to find most of them, as even the top are making mistakes and a lot of scams have been solved by authorities with the criminals being arrested and the wallets seized. Due to the nature of cryptocurrencies, access to funds must be given by criminals to authorities and when arrested they usually do that to receive a reduced sentence.
  11. I don't think Tesla will create a crypto exchange because it will be very different from what they are doing. I read some rumors about Apple getting in the game and creating an exchange and an ios app, perhaps with similarities to the paypal model.
  12. This has been going on for a while right now, and I have seen some members worrying about it, but it will not be for too long. I am in this forum for a few months and since September it has happened for third time. It is a period where cleaning of the forum happens and many spammers are removed from the campaign. I have hopes it will be done in a few days and the payment will open again very soon.
  13. I recently bought some Talk token and plan to invest more when the Bitcoin payment is released. It is a test I am doing because I think that Talk has finally reached a bottom at 8 satoshi and it would be very bad to have very lower price for it. I am sure that the forum and Yobit wants to keep the price of Talk higher, and there will come a time that price will appreciate once again.
  14. When I joined in crypto I learned about the hacks of exchanges and how these could be orchestrated from inside and not being just simple hacks. Usually when the amount stolen is too much an exchange will find it very difficult to reimburse the users. I learned about Mtgox and how this exchange was hacked for hundreds of thousands of Bitcoin in 2014. It is not possible to pay the users back and have 200,000 bitcoins left for around 800,000 bitcoins stolen to pay back.
  15. I was wondering about that. So, the first exchange was in 2010, while Bitcoin was running since 2009. One year of accumulation of Bitcoin for the early miners that managed to find Bitcoin this early. I wonder what happened to this exchange, perhaps it was hacked too, as I read that most of the early exchanges were hacked or scammed the customers.
  16. It is not allowed to give the same reaction in all the posts. If you give the same in two then it won't be a problem, but if you give +5 to every post you see, it could be seen as a spam of reaction. However, there are posts that should be given +5 for the effort and quality, so in this case I think you will not have a problem. But you can make it +4 and switch to +5, just to be sure.
  17. I was so confused with Elon Musk, he had removed the Bitcoin logo from his twitter lately, and then he responded that Doge was better option from Bitcoin. I didn't expect this, it is really bullish and I think that this bull run is now going to last even more and price may reach so high we won't even expect it. Perhaps three or four times higher what it is today.
  18. Tesla announced with a filing in SEC (link) a whooping $1.5 Billion investment in Bitcoin and also announced plans to accept Bitcoin for payments in the future! This amazing news came minutes earlier and created for Bitcoin a bullish outburst that brought price to new ATH of $43,300. Can this be the ignition for a continuation of the bull run? 19. My time in Yobit has been without any concern on fees. Withdrawal fees can be countered for small withdrawals using a few altcoins that have very cheap miner fees, as it is Tron and XRP. Trading is also great in Yobit with a small fee of 0.20%, and the best part in the exchange is that it doesn't require KYC and also instantly gives us deposits and withdrawals with no time interval. Binance takes time to process these transactions, Yobit does that instantly.
  20. I don't know a lot about bitcointalk history. I made an account there and read many posts for months since I joined the crypto space this summer. I don't see a big difference in the information given between the two forums. There is the same amount of good/bad posts in both forums. But I don't see a reason to keep reading bitcointalk. I wasted many hours there in discussions that were useless and fights between bitcointalk members. It doesn't make any sense to me and it obviously seems that old members value their accounts too much, while there is a broken system of trust called DT where just one user can accuse someone else even without any evidence and mark this member as dangerous and not to be trusted. In fact, I wouldn't trust anyone there, and I wouldn't have to spend weeks and months trying to understand if any one of the DT members could be trusted or not. I don't advise anyone trusting money with anyone there just because they are on a DT list. You don't know who you are dealing with. I had hours reading about things like this: It is diverting our attention, wasted hours reading useless nonsense and I don't care about the ego of anyone. The above is an example it is not meant that this member isn't honest or anything, (in fact I concluded it was more honest than others). I just spend hours trying to read what happened for no reason and got caught up in an endless fight between DT members. There are thousands of accusations that are meant to feed each of the high-rank members' ego there and it becomes just pointless drama. The other part is the ranking in that forum, which is surprisingly difficult, and apparently made as to avoid anyone from ranking up, while apparently there is collusion between old members and ranking up of alt-accounts to be used in signature campaigns that are lucrative for higher rank members. It is sad this rank system has the name merit, as I have seen first hand, merit been given with massive amounts to quickly rank-up new accounts, without of course any red trust being given to any of the accused: Example: A totally useless and stupid post that gets 50 merits from a legendary bitcointalk member and praise bellow from another legendary spammer: The answer of the merit source for accusation against him/her in this post This answer from a bitcointalk legendary member with +30 Trust. It also seems members there were using PGP keys to validate their accounts, however, a big name member in that forum, apparently had his/her PGP key compromised.. Can't trust anyone there for any reason. What if you plan to use someone as escrow and has had his account and PGP keys compromised? Bitcointalk is not safe at all. Needless to say that bitcointalk in all these years has been used by many scammers and criminals and some of them are notorious and in jail today. I would be really careful if I was going to keep using that forum or trust any of those controlling it.
  21. Great post, I agree with Binance but not the rest two. I think the list should be Binance and then Yobit because these exchanges don't need KYC. Poloniex don't need either and it looks good as exchange but I haven't used it. I can't use Bittrex at all and I'm not going to do KYC on exchanges like Bittrex, coinbase or kraken. If they wanted they could have been like Binance and not ask for information that we shouldn't be giving to any website.
  22. Thieves can steal anything. If you don't take all the required steps to increase your security you will be a target for Bitcoin theft. It is best for everyone not to discuss Bitcoin at all in public especially if we are living in areas where crime thrives, as the thieves in many occasions have even kidnapped people and trying to extort for Bitcoin.
  23. Nobody wants to read posts containing many mistakes. Even one makes us stuck and wonder why this mistake wasn't edited and corrected. Meanwhile there are some that make posts filled with mistakes that make words have other meaning. I am glad that posts that have very low quality and a lot of mistakes are deleted.
  24. In approximately three years from today, the fourth halving will occur. In my opinion it is the most significant part of Bitcoin trading cycles and should be remembered again by all of us after two years, when probably Bitcoin will have crashed from a ridiculous overpriced ATH and being again abandoned and called dead by the media. No need to wonder about the halving today, forget about it, and put it on hold, until the next moment comes.
  25. It feels that the scammers have an extra sense, and they can find beginners very fast. This is their allocation of efforts, they don't plan to waste time on experienced users of crypto, but they try to find the newbies. When I was a newbie in the space I was constantly contacted by scammers. However, after a few months in the field, they stopped harassing me and now I meet them very rarely.
