  1. 1. Trading crypto with little to no experience. This is a huge mistake I see newbies make with trading. If you're going to trade, you need to know the in's and out's of it. Know when to sell and know when to buy. 2. Not paying attention to the minimum withdraw rate. This is a big one, you shouldn't withdraw money if it's more than the payout or close to it. Example: If you withdraw $50 in Bitcoin, but the fee is $25 don't do it. Just wait until you have more in your account. 3. Double check the selling price before you buy. This happened to me I didn't check the price, and I hit the button, and boom I lost money. 4. Get a crypto mentor or coach to help you avoid making mistakes. If you know someone that is a professional trader, ask them to teach you how to trade. 5. Don't hold crypto too long because sometimes you can miss your chance to sell it to make a profit.
  2. My dream is to purchase a car with Bitcoin. Not a lot of places accept that type of payment, but maybe in a few more years it will be the norm. Imagine sitting down with the car salesman, and you send the payment to the wrong Bitcoin address. I would be so angry if that happened to me. I'm sure they would have some sort of protection to keep that from happening.
  3. Wow, I never thought I would see the day when Bitcoin made it to Bollywood. I have some Indian friends who love Bitcoin more than me. The conversion rate from BTC to Rupee is very high, maybe that's why they like it so much. Cryptocurrency is slowly taking over the world. Before you know it, Bitcoin is going to be a household name.
  4. Yes, I've also heard about a Facebook coin, but I didn't believe it at first. I guess Mark Zuckerberg is trying to get his own currency. I knew it would be a matter of time before he tried his hand at crypto. The Facebook users could really benefit from this. He could give them special deals on buying merchandise on his website. I can't be mad at him, but do you think he was a bit too late? Bitcoin is on the rise, so it would be hard to compete with that. Maybe if he started a little sooner he would've stood a chance. If he would've made a coin when Facebook was popular, he would be a multi-millionaire.

    Yobit Airdrop

This will be my first airdrop, since I signed up to the Yobit.net website. I wonder what they are going to do about the investment box. It would be a great idea, if we can invest in all the coins, and not just a selected few. You never know what they are going to do. Does the airdrop include BTC or is it just Alt coins?
  6. My rewards from this forum will be going straight to the investment box. I know other people like to spend their money, but I'm more of a saver. You never know when you're going to need some extra cash, and judging by the market with the price of Bitcoin going up and down, I could use the extra padding. I heard that you can buy gift cards online with that one website. I think it's called eGifter, I might give it a try.
  7. This post couldn't be more true. So many people think that you can be a millionaire over night, but it comes with great patience is when you see the real money. I've been fortunate to make a decent income within a couple of months, but I know that is not everyone's reality. If anyone needs help getting started trading cryptocurrencies, I will gladly do so.
  8. This is just a prediction, but I think when January comes Bitcoin will be in the $11,000 dollar range. I could be wrong, but I'm just going to wait and see. Some people I've been talking to believe bitcoin is going to soar into the millions. I'm really having a hard time believing that, but if it does that means more money for everybody.
  9. The biggest thing you have to pay attention to when trading is the price. Some of the market prices are too high, you should wait until it comes down a bit before you buy. I know a lot of traders are eager to buy and sell, but you shouldn't risk it if the price is over market value. Go with your gut instinct or if you don't trust that go with the majority. Look at the price and see what is the median price everyone is settling on, and go with that. Trading is hard, but losing a ton of money is harder.
  10. Both banks and people are loving Blockchain. I know I check it at least two or three times a day. The fact that you can track someone's spending habits is unreal. Criminals aren't really into Bitcoin because how easily it can be tracked. That could be a positive or a negative depending on how you look at it. I'm interested in seeing how Blockchain and Bitcoin are utilized in the future. Only time will tell, until then I can keep spying on everybody lol.
  11. The people with the most grammatically correct posts should be the winner. I see a lot of people posting on the forum, and their spelling and syntax isn't very good. I understand that everybody is trying, but some of these posts just make me cringe. I wonder if the admins are native English speakers. It would be pretty hard to judge a contest, if you don't understand English very well. Good luck to everyone and may the best Alt coin win.
  12. Getting paid to post on the forums pays better than all of those choices. I want to do the thing that warrants me the most amount of money, without sacrificing too much of my time. I can mine while I sleep, but the profits aren't as good. I think doing all three would be the best solution. I noticed that mining Bitcoin you have to multi-task a lot. One hand is on the computer and the other is on my phone. I looks really weird, but if there is a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow, then so be it.
  13. I've been in crypto seriously for about 3 months now, but I did dabble with it in the past. I used to mine Bitcoin in 2012 ish, but I put it down because I had to work a job. There's so much changing in the crypto community, and I feel right at home. Most of the people I was mining with are still going strong. I guess old habits never die.
  14. Buying Bitcoin with a credit card is a good idea. If something should go wrong it's not your money anyway. I know you have to pay it back, but any fraudulent charges on the card can be reported, so there is very little risk. The worst way to buy cryptocurrency is with a debit card because they don't credit your account all the time with fraudulent charges. I tried to get my money back on something that I didn't purchase, and I was unsuccessful. They told me that I would have to file a report, take screenshots, and provide absolute proof that I didn't purchase the product.
  15. I can't tell you how many times my computer crashed and went to the black or blue screen when mining. Ventilation is key when you are mining for long hours. Sometimes fans can't keep my laptop cool. I almost want to put my laptop in the freezer. I'm just kidding, but seriously you need to invest in good fans, when mining or you can have a serious problem on your hands.

    Trading Tips

I've learned that trading is a skill in itself. I would say when you think you should sell, hold it for a little while. When you think you should hold, sell it right away. It doesn't always work, but sometimes your instincts can be wrong, so proceed with caution. Don't be that person that takes all their retirement money, and blows it in one bad trade. Do your research when you want to buy cryptocurrencies. I found that watching YouTube videos, and reading articles can help determine what cryptocurrencies to buy. Look for signs of companies merging with other ones because that is an indication that their stock might be on the rise.
  17. I'm no trading expert, but putting all your money in one coin is like putting all your money in one bank. Sure it's secure, but what if something happens to it? The best thing to do is spread your money out into 5-10 different cryptocurrencies. The more options you have the better it will be incase the market crashes. Bitcoin is a good start, but it's not the only cryptocurrency out there, so I would try some different alt coins. For the times when Bitcoin is looking bearish, you could have another coin that is extremely bullish, and vice versa.
  18. Does anybody know if a 0xd faucet exists? I've been trying to find one for a while now, but I haven't had any luck. I wouldn't mind having a Egold faucet too. You don't really need that much money to make a faucet. I know a guy that made one, and he only had about 10 LTC in his account. The only thing that you have to keep an eye on is people trying to cheat the system.

    Microsoft Bitcoin Miner

I'm running the Microsoft Bitcoin Miner app right now. It only takes me about 10-12 days to get paid. Some of the older PC's and tablets struggle to reach payout. I will update you all on how much I receive for my efforts. Hopefully it's worth it, otherwise I might have to find something else. Any suggestions?
  20. If you can get 2x-3x your money back on the investment, then I would do it. I haven't bought the waves coin very much. I prefer the RUR(Russian Rubble) coin, but whatever works for you. Now that I'm reading all these posts, I might have to buy some wave coins. I don't want to feel left out.
  21. My biggest loss was about 18% from trading Egold. I was new to the Yobit.net site, and I made the mistake of selling when the stock was in the red. It was a huge mistake. I knew I messed up when I didn't receive as much money as I usually would. Anyone trading cryptocurrencies should be very careful because once you press that button, you can't get your money back.
  22. I tried to buy Bitcoin like a week ago, and they were asking me for all kinds of identification. I had to provide my I.D photo. I gave them the picture, but they still denied me. For what reason I don't know,, but I would like a little bit of privacy when I'm buying my Bitcoin. Isn't that what Bitcoin is about being anonymous. I think Uncle Sam has to get his cut or else there will be hell to pay.
  23. The easiest way to find fake mining sites is if they are bombarded with ads. I can see it from a mile away, click here if you want a bigger.......laptop lol. No, but seriously I've been burned by so many fake sites it's ridiculous. I wish they would tell you upfront that they are scammers. That would save me so much time. I've been thinking about starting my own mining site, just so I know I won't be scammed.

    How to learn mining?

If you're new to mining you're going to need three things. 1. A lot of money to pay your electricity bill because it's going to be high. 2. Patience because the money doesn't come easy. 3. As many fans as humanly possible. These mining rigs generate a lot of heat, and there's no way to keep them cool.

    Is mining dead?

I would say that mining is dead, but browser mining is the future. You can mine with your browser on almost any supported device. This takes less power consumption, as well as making it easier for newbies. My hardcore mining days are over, so now I prefer something lighter. I still see people who are renting out whole warehouses to mine, and I can only think of the electricity bill. Ouch!
