  1. Many people think holding is going to make them rich, but trading can really make your money grow. I had that same way of thinking when I first started, but now that I trade all the time, I prefer that over holding. You're right holding is boring, and who knows how long you will have to hold, before you see some kind of money. Holding is for people who don't want to work to increase their money, and trading is for hard working people that get reward for their efforts.
  2. I recommend Yobit because they don't require you to have I.D. I know a lot of other exchanges like Coinbase, Kraken, and Bittrex that require you to have identification documents. The only thing that Yobit needs is to upgrade is their UI (user interface), but other than that I think that one is the best. It really comes down to your personal preference, and some exchanges have access to coins that others don't. Try all of them if you want, and choose the best ones that suit your needs.
  3. I learned most of my trading tips through YouTube, and trial and error. You can read forums and blogs to get a more in depth look at crypto. It takes a while to become good at trading, so be patient. You may feel like you're not getting better, but hang in there it's going to work out. You can also take classes on money management because you need to invest your earnings, so you won't go broke.
  4. I'm not sure that the admins would give you that kind of control. You can't really care about who is posting, just let the admins do their job. I understand that it's frustrating, but they're doing the best that they can, so you have to just ignore them. If everyone could lock their topics, then you wouldn't get an open discussion. That's kind of what a forum really is an open discussion, so I don't think that would be a good idea.
  5. I would recommend Yobit for sure. I haven't really tried any other exchanges, so I can't compare it to anything. Yobit has the cleanest layout, and it's very user friendly. I have seen other exchanges with a complicated user interface, but Yobit kept it simple. They also offer great prices on new ICO's and the investment box is one of their key features. The only downside is some of the withdraw fees are too high. Also Yobit doesn't let you deposit or withdraw some coins. Other than that, I would definitely recommend new users to give Yobit a try.
  6. The writers in the forum are already hired, but getting new writers would give Cryptotalk a new voice. This is why it's better to bring in new people to get a new perspective. I see so many people that aren't adding to the thread, but they're just posting poorly and expecting money. Hiring real writers is the solution. They are more knowledgeable about the topics, and we can have better discussions.
  7. Using Yobit codes is the best way to avoid transaction fees. I think more of the exchanges should use this as an alternative way to pay people. The transaction fees should still be there for people who don't have a Yobit account. If everyone started using this thought, then the site could make less money, but it would be an increase in new users. I think the Yobit codes aren't used as much as they should. I'm definitely going to use it more now that you posted this thread.
  8. That's my point, the hired writers will replace the "average joe" writers, and there will only be professional crypto writers. You are getting paid to post, so Cryptotalk should expect quality posts. I can tell by your response that you could use work in your posting. It should be a job for real writers, and not so much people that post in their spare time. Does it make sense now?
  9. You can invest your crypto and let it gain interest. That's the best thing that you can do because it doesn't matter the price of your crypto, you still earn compound interest every day or at least monthly. You can also borrow money against your own crypto, so there's no real cause for concern. People that are being bullish are holding and waiting for that moment to cash in, but you can do the things that I just mentioned to make money in the mean time.
  10. I've been paid so many times from crypto browser, so I can confirm that it's real. I think that is the only browser that I know of, but it takes a while to reach payout. Especially if you have a slow computer, but if you're not planning on making a lot of money, then it would do just fine. The Crypto tab browser is a good way to get introduced to BItcoin. Many people can't buy BItcoin, so I think this and a faucet would be great ways to get money, without investing your own.
  11. The best way to secure your wallet passwords is to write them down on a piece of paper. You can also take a screenshot of them and store it in a secure location. I know that everything can be hacked, but that seems like a good idea. Maybe crop out any information that lets you know what wallet it belongs to, it should work pretty good. I know people that send their wallet keys and passwords to themselves on Google, and this is a bad idea. Someone could hack your account, and gain access to all your money.
  12. Egold seems to be a great investment, and so is 0xd. I haven't been investing much, since they don't have the famous crypto like LItecoin and Ethereum. I did see Ethereum when I first signed up to Yobit, but that's been long gone. I would like to see more stable coins in their investment box like Dai, USDC, and USDT. I'm hoping that they will promote coins that have consistent value because those coins are the ones that will still be there if something happens to Bitcoin.

    Born trader

Like any skill I think that people can be born with an edge over other people. I feel like I've been fortunate enough to be a "natural" at trading, but other people I know struggle to keep up. Trading can be learned, so anyone can do it, but it takes a special person to understand it enough to make tons of money with it.
  14. I agree with this post because I've noticed that many people on this forum haven't created any new topics. I assumed this is people should do to keep the conversation going. If everyone just keeps replying and not creating new topics it gets boring fast. I've seen people that replied to 3 or 4 people at one time, which is ridiculous. You have to create new and interesting content, if the forum wants to survive.
  15. We're still not done with the year just yet, so it could be true. I'm not that bullish to believe that Bitcoin will hit 1 million in a month, but that doesn't stop me from dreaming of that big payout when it does. You realize if that did come true how many millionaires it would be in the world. I'm thinking there would only be two classes the rich and the poor. There wouldn't be a middle class anymore. You either have money or you don't there's no in between. I would like to know which class would you fall into if this happened?
  16. I mine everyday because you may think it doesn't help, but it does. I've made some good money, so I'll keep on going. I'm mining while I'm writing this post. That's how good it really is, but you do have to wait a little while to be paid though. I think it's like a couple of days before the shares are confirmed. Other than that I don't have any problems with mining. The biggest downside is the laptop freezing when it gets too hot, but other than that I can't think of any.
  17. It is a smart investment, but I do see what you're saying it's risky. Now there are sites that allow you to borrow money against your crypto, so the value thing shouldn't be a problem. I've never seen Bitcoin take a dump that it can recover from LOL. Sorry, that just sounded funny. I'm still going to take your advice and only put half of my money into crypto, just in case something happens in the market.
  18. This was my point exactly. People on the threads make comments that aren't on topic. This is due to writing inexperience. If you hire people that are trained writers, then you will get better quality writing. It can be a slow process and just get rid of low quality writers. You don't have to do it all at one time. Before you know it the quality will be up to Google's standards.
  19. Bitcoin would be my favorite way to receive payment, but I would accept USD. If everyone was using the same currency it would stop all these transaction fees. I know Bitcoin still charges you, but it's a small fee compared to other payment platforms. I like that people have more than one way to pay, but most of the time it creates confusion. Every country has it's own payment system, but Bitcoin should be the main currency that all of us use.
  20. You don't really need to buy it thought. There are tons of websites that allow you to earn Bitcoin i.e this one. Faucets sites are there to provide people Bitcoin that don't have access to it. You can now borrow bitcoin and you have to pay them back. There are all kinds of ways you can use Bitcoin without actually buying large quantities. I do agree, if the price was lower it would make people buy tons of it, but that would take the fun out of earning it.
  21. This is a very good question, but I think some of them are, and some of them aren't. I can handle being my own bank and budgeting my money, but other people have to practice more. I still see older people who know nothing about retirement, and they don't have a plan on how to save money. Bitcoin is a very adult situation, but most of the people that are making money are young adults. The older community doesn't want anything to do with it. I'm not saying all older people aren't going to manage their money, but the majority of them could care less.
  22. I haven't used the "revenge" feature yet LOL. I think that is childish that people are giving people negative reactions, just because they were calling them out on spamming. I don't plan on using the negative reaction feature. If I don't like something, I just leave it alone. It could be brought to the attention of the admins in private though. I'm not sure if they want you to make a post about it, but if that helps spread the word, then by all means do what make you feel better.
  23. I'm using Crypterium, and you should try it too. You can exchange LTC into Ethereum, and back again. The fees are minimal, and I barely notice them at all. This is the best wallet I've used so far. You can download the app on android and iPhones. They pay you in CRPT tokens once a month, and it's a decent amount of money. You should check it out. I'm sure the wallets that you mentioned are great, but here's another one you can add to your list.
  24. This is a great idea to have a notification system. It can remind you how many posts you have until you are paid again. I've been having the same problem because I mine on other sites, and I often forget how many posts I need to get paid. I guess the new system solves that problem, but a notification system would be nice. It could be optional for people that tend to forget everything.
  25. I'm predicting $10,000, but I'm still being bearish, and going with $8,500-$7,500 range. The last couple of days Bitcoin wasn't doing to well. We should be able to bounce back after this minor inconvenience. I can see that the pressure of trading is making people sell their crypto. They're scared the market is crashing, but really that's a lie. The wales are selling everything, but I still think Bitcoin will have a bright future.
