It's not just because of Corona, but it's also increasing interest in cryptocurrency. Currently, many have left crypto because of Corona. But interest in crypto is increasing because of the government of every country now supporting crypto. That's why the demand and investment of crypto is increasing.

It may actually have some positive impact on it, but in general if the investment in this field declines as a result of the lack of money in the hands of people, the effect will be negative on the digital currency market even though I see that digital currencies are the near future

Only thing on this i see affecting positively on some cryptos is the fact that people are questioning the value of money when there is more money printed then ever. With that people are looking for the storage of value as they see their fiat devalued sooner or later.

 

Also smart contracts could get a new boost when people want to find another ways to vote with some secure system.

I think so. Due to many are wary on using physical currency,that might ve the carrier of virus,they shift to crypto currency as an alternative and due to lockdown,where in many people are obliged to stay at home without work,they find crypto trading is the best solution for now to earn money.

Corona Virus has affected the crypto market in a bad way and that caused the price breakdown of Bitcoin. Now, like you said more people are getting to know the field of Crypto currencies and using them for earning more money.

I think that may people is interested now on cryptocurrencies because they cant earn money now because of the pandemic. They are finding ways to earn money and they chose cryptocurrencies.

I have different opinions regarding online and virtually currencies investment significantly loses investors due to corona pandemic and now if you checked capitalization of crypto market in few then more then 2.60$ billions and now currently capitalization of crypto market is only 1.76$ billions USD.
