Why Some Consider Ethereum The Father Of Altcoins?

Even me i consider that, because there is no any altcoin that is greater and valuable than ethereum. There are many altcoins and they perform well in the market but they are not used most like ethereum and they don't have big value like ethereum.

Ethereum is probably going to become even better with the developments, but I've read reports that ETH 2.0 will be delayed and probably won't be released during this summer. I don't know if this will have price implications but I will definitely buy as much as possible if price of ETH dips.

Well, I also think that Ethereum is the father of altcoins. It is because it is the second best coin after bitcoin and it is different to other altcoin. Although doge is much more longer life than eth, eth is more profitable and much more high in volume than Doge. That's why it is consider to be the father of altcoins.
