My friend, thank you, but this news is not correct. Syria has not yet done this procedure. The interest currently is to improve the circulation of the national currency and the experiences in the field of cryptocurrencies in Syria are still low so there must be an experiment to learn the establishment of cryptocurrencies and deal with the decentralized market for cryptocurrencies and this Experience with countries like China and Russia

Yes I think that too they have to improve their experience in crypto and digital coins ! 
but I heard that they are going to make their coin and it's called " LIRA "

This will benefit syria,it can be a good start for them to help them uplift from financial crisis and help to improve economic growth. And hopefully it will be successful to help their countrymen and lessen those jobless in their country.

These are really good news for Syria, especially as it is going through difficult situations in terms of wars and economic pressure on it, and I hope that this currency will be successful because Syria deserves it.

I am pretty skeptic every time a government decides to make their own cryptocurrency or explore on making it. While fiat system has obvious problems, they could easily translate to their cryptocurrency as well if it isn't decentralized enough.

Its good that Syria is working with their own digital currency project as it is normal because Syrians are restricted in most of the digital forum so to be on digital world they need to establish their own currency but the success depends upon the investments done in such currencies from not only Syrians but also from the other countries.

I have heard about this currency, which is called Lira, and I think that this currency will help in a big way to support Syria's external economy. In this way, Syria will be the first Arab country to establish its own currency.

This is a kind of progress in Syria. creating currencies is a good thing. indirectly it will increase the economy there. especially the crypto fighters must be very happy.

At this moment the situation of Syria is worst and the economic situation is  going down may be if they start working on their own coin and people start working on it staying at home  and more interested to the Crypto field it will affect positively so in my view its right step towards development.

yes I have read about this currency , it is called LIRA , but i don't think they will be able to work on it now . Syria already is very weak economically and is going through a difficult war . which means the country is not able to work on their own currency project yet.

Basically some countries have tend to adopt this of the creation of Crypto, when base on how their economic development and growth have maybe kind if declined, then they actually have this gateway of having to introduce the creation of Cryptocurrencies assets

This is really a good news , but would it really success although syria is going through a war! I don't really think so, as i heard the country's economic almost felt down , they can't work on this project now

I think it will be the great step for Syria --cryptocurrency can be a way to overcome economic sanctions.Syria is  a war-torn country. They might uplift their economic state by using the cryptocurrency if there are impressive projects to launch.

I have not heard any official statements from the Syrian government about a national cryptocurrency for Syria. Perhaps this coin will be issued by a certain group of people, so you should beware of fraud.

Well, this topic seems interesting because Syria has not emerged from the war yet and is still suffering from many crises, as we see on television, if the wounded Syria is working on its own cryptocurrency, then all other countries should follow Syria.

I hope that the news is correct. Syria has suffered from a war for 10 years and economic sanctions are still imposed so far, and therefore the establishment of Syria its own digital currency  will have positive effects on its economy.

1 - this project will not have legs to walk, this must be another rumor

 

2 - I definitely highly doubt that Arab countries create their own digital currencies

 

3 - it would be another failure like the petro
