Doge coin will not overtake bitcoin in price. Bitcoin has the features and capacity to be ahead of doge coin and can not be reached. Bit coin price will always be higher and stronger.

Doge is pretty far from it and if in case it will happen maybe it will take like 40-100 years before Doge can overtake bitcoin. Though we cannot predict the mind of big investors, so the chances that it will happen is still there but it's very low especially that big investors are favoring bitcoin right now over other currencies.
