I think it would be illegal when government don't put some actions in the usage of Cryptocurrency in their country. If they adopt it and legalized the Cryptocurrency, i think we can see a lot of benefits using crypto.

Before creating a coin there are many laws needed to be consider and also coins needed to be registered in order not to bypass any law. Cyberworld has its own rules and laws and maybe differ based on the rules of a certain country. But I think cryptocurrency will not be banned worldwide because it became part of our daily lives and also the way we live with the help of money given by crypto's opportunity. This is a product of technology so we must accept it in order to grow efficient and effective.

Many countries are banned and banned crypto currency like India, Bangladesh etc. It is declared illegal for various reasons: money laundering, illegal transfers, tax avoidance and many other issues. It's going to take more time to get laws around the world. If the government can control the Crypto currency, it will be declared legal all over the world.

Basically allowing projects to grab millions is not promising either for the market. ICO's back in 2017 and DeFi currently are making people lose money and I think that soon there will be an intervention by the SEC, although I'm not sure why they stalled so much, since certainly many DeFi are just Ponzi's waiting to collapse.

Being decentralized does not mean that something won't shut down. Many devs abandoned their projects when the money stopped pouring. After all they were there just for the money and created nothing.

Concerning Bitcoin there is actually no regulation that can harm it. The problem is that it is bought only for speculative reasons currently and this is not going to end well either.

I don't think that will happen, because many countries want blockchain technology as a means of storing their financial value, cryptocurrency is a technology that like it or not will always exist and give us an advantage. I mean if government is really trying to adapt to change they could aleays think of anything just to managed to milk out taxes to anything and cryptocurrencies are no different from them. It would be absurd if they banned these since most of the transactions in the digital space are using cryptocurrency and bitcoin is one of those. Using flat world currencies is not good as a legal tender in the digital space since we have different countries and has their own currency. You can't always used dollars since you still need to use it to their local currency. And the fact that there is what they called as deep web which literally only accepts bitcoins as a legal tender.
