Well, cash is also great for illegal activities, even better than crypto.

 

What happens, I think, is that governments and central banks try to enforce KYC to all exchanges. That won't give them insight in all crypto transactions, of course, but they will be able to see suspicious flows in and out of exchanges.

The main problem has to do with the scalability trilemma as put by Vitalik Buterin. Right now it's somehow not possible for a blockchain to provide both decentralization, security and scalability. Bitcoin's main problem is scalability. There can be ways to proceed but miners didn't accept changes and that led to Bitcoin Cash. Bitcoin Cash might be scalable but it is not secure and probably not decentralized either. It goes in this vicious circle all this time and I think that decisions should be made soon about the issue of scalability.

Yes I think that other people are changing their way of methods in scamming people becsuse now they are trying to scam or steal from people in cryptocurrencies because they want to take advantage on them which is not great
