Addicted to earn btc is not a problem as long as you didn't do illegal activities like scamming. 

Mining is a good process to have btc keep it bro.

I think 50% of crypto users are addicted to btc and most of them are newbies because when anyone entered in crypto he knows only btc and attracted by its price. And most of my friends only love to accumulate btc. They do not want to work with any other coin. I was also addicted to btc when I entered in crypto but with time I came to know many altcoins like ethereum has more potential to make anyone rich.

Are you a solo miner and you have mined sufficient amount of Bitcoins ? My family members are forcing me to boycut my investments from the crypto world. They are not letting me to take enough risks when investing in Bitcoin to trade on the exchanges.

Of course, people can get jealous of you if you are earning so much and I have felt this feeling. You should keep up your work as long as it doesn't affect your social life negatively.
