Volume and fee are part of the main quality to consider as you have rightly pointed out. Of course there are a good many exchanges in this world and l would say this number is increasing day by day. Firstly in my opinion security is the main quality of the exchange. We must be careful about that and then fees, etc.

In good exchanges volumes are huge and full of security . In top exchanges are user-friendly, top coins are listed , voulmes are high and super fast speed . Binance, okex, kucoin are best exchanges.

i always work on top 19 exchange only because there is low amount of risk , we should focus on its security , coustmer supports , good refer program it's UI and listing of good Coin .

It is more than trading volume, exchange should be safe, it should be trust worthy, reliable, having good easy to use platform, also another is for the exchanges to have good trading fee, but trading volume is so necessary to be known.

The fees set on currency trading, which mainly determine the amount of trading and the number of investors, but that is different for bitcoin, as it is the strongest cryptocurrency in existence. You can trade fees on it big, but it has billions of exchanges every day.

But do not forget the security also, I use trading volume as well, ala for the altcoin you are trading, make sure it has a trading volume that will make your trade instant or almost instant, low trading volume is makes an exchange a worse one.
