there won't be a benchmark for how long. when it first appeared, bitcoin was very cheap and no one expected it big, but bitcoin became expensive every year and lasted at least 10 years. for the future also the same, we can not predict, while there are still demands on the bitcoin market, then that's why bitcoin will continue to exist.

I think every cryptocurrency (not just bitcoin) will continue to exist as long as people accept it, deal with it and trade it. Whether a coin is considered to be a good platform for making profit is also a determining factor to its existence. Cryptocurrencies like bitcoin and ethereum bring good profit for traders and that's why they are still alive after some years. In my opinion, even after 10 years there are still no coins which are better than bitcoin in every way.

If one day someone develop a coin with better features that can attract the market, bitcoin maybe start to become less popular but it is too hard to defeat bitcoin and overcome the market. Even if better coins are developed it takes long before they are accepted by traders and their volume and value increase.

Therefore, I think bitcoin well be with us in the years to come unless someone find a way to ban it!

Bitcoin will exist even after the last supply distribution date over. It's popularity is higher now maybe in the future whole countries will label Bitcoin as legal, it will increase more demands and Bitcoin price become more higher.

Possibly there are another system which better but i'm sure the new system using the basic of Bitcoin ecosystem.

Maybe Bitcoin will still exist in the future. And that is the hope of some people who have worked on it from the past until now. The system might change, but for this one (Bitcoin) it is still very difficult to slide from its position and existence.

Using bitcoin like fiat currency instead of real fiat currency feels like you're in the future. I can't say yet if there is an advanced technology that would replaced bitcoin.

yeah, if there are some better technologies than blockchain in the future, i think bitcoin popularity will decrease. i think if bitcoins supply almost run out, lack of miner and the new technology appear, the bitcoin won't be valueable and won't exist.
