Unable to use Trust wallet and MEW

Hello everyone.

 

One of my friends have joined crypto world just somedays ago.He asked me in which wallets he can store all his ERC20 coins.So i suggested him Trust Wallet or MEW.Then after sometimes he called me and said he ccouldn't find those wallet in google playstore.So i did some research about it.And i came to know that one must need a mobile phone of version 6.0 or more than that to download these apps from playstore but my friend's phone's version was 5.0.2 (below 6.0) and that's why he was unable to download it from playstore.Then i searched that if there is any web wallet for these two and the result is it can't be possible.

 

So i want to ask you guys that is there is any other way by which my friend can use Trust wallet and Myetherwallet in his mobile phone?

If Trust wallet is not available for Android phone with the OS version below 6, you might give a try on Atomic wallet if it is available. I caution you, never install old version Trust wallet application from unauthorized stores which may be dangerous. In the case of MEW wallet, web version is still fine and also you might try to use Meta Mask as an alternative.

@Whited35 explained very well about your issues , in trust wallet we Need a minimum Andorid version with OS  . atomic wallets is best option for you , you can access Myetherwallet wallet from there official website without any issue .

If the wallet is not supported by your friends phone they cant install it and i dont think there is another way ,but you can use there wallet like Coinomi or Atomic wallet i think they support his phone

Then, your friend might need an upgraded version of Android or look for other alternatives that accept lower android version. I think Coinomi, Trust wallet and/or Metamask should work well on android 5.0. They works well for Ether and ERC-20 tokens.

He can use the Trust Wallet by downloading its application on a personal computer or by using a modern version of Chrome browser where he can log in and register an account in this wallet from its official website and use it naturally without the need to download the application

It will be better not to use it as a web wallet, I prefer to get the app on my phone, if truly you can not use it on android 5.0 devices, it will be better to upgrade or use a safe wallet that works with such android version.

Well brother, money is involved here so forcefully installing the customized wallets(by hackers) even of reputed wallets like Trust wallet might cause a serious problem. If there is no official wallet for specific revision,forcefully installing wallets from external app stores may not be a smart idea.  Thanks.

Thats true friend, sometimes you will not find trust wallet in playstore and i real don't know what the problem is. But trust mobile app can be found in binance exchange too, just tell your friend to visit binance site to download trust wallet.

As I can see we are unanymous about the problem: The Android or IOS version is the problem. Maybe the man can jailbreak the phone...

I think your friend can choose web version of mEW wallet. Because that will be available for any versions of phone. And also to secure information and easily control all the features one must be very efficient to develop a higher version android phone. So your friend should buy a new phone to use the wallet apps and to run into the crypto world smooth. This will decrease  the reprocation of things.

I will recommend to use atomic wallet. It is same as truat wallet. The best thing about atomic wallet is that one can exchange their crypto coins easily without any trading. If he is unable to use these two wallets, he can open them through the browser or use wallets that support the Android 5 system, such as the Blockchain wallet, which is a good wallet also he can try it is easy to use

There are some problems with mobile versions of trust wallet, because it`s necessary to have late versions of Androids and IOS and it`s uncomfortable sometimes

If these two wallets you have mentioned can't be used vai a website and requires a phone that has 6.0 version and above for one to download there applications on play store and looking at your friend's phone it has only 5.0.2 version as you said and it's not compatible for these wallets therefore, theris no way your friend can use them on his phone unless when he buys a phone that has the required version that's the only suggestion I can give.

Can't he just upgrade android on his phone? Is it an old phone he's got? Perhaps he can spent like $50 to buy a second hand better model. I don't think he will be able to use his phone for crypto either. The apps will lag and it will make his life difficult.

In my opinion if mobile not support Trust wallet, then don't search other ways to download, you know very well  third party is not safe and unfortunately you download any fake version, its very dangerous but so many other wallets also good why not try Atomic wallet this is also good wallet.

I never had any problems with Trust Wallet, but My Ether Wallet had a lot of problems, at first it did not allow me to log in to My account for several hours, then I had to use a VPN to access it

Sure those wallets mobile applications are not compatible with all smartphone, for example my phone also is one of phones thats cannot use those wallets.

If Trust Wallet is not available on Android phones with OS version 6 or lower, you can try Atomic Wallet if possible. It warns you not to install the previous version. Trust applications from unofficial store wallets that can be dangerous. For the MEW wallet, the web version is still good and you can use Meta Mask as an alternative.

Oh so sad!, I advice you and your friend you people use the Atomic wallet. This is a good wallet and provide the good security and protection. This available on Android veriosn. Trust wallet is available for IOS. I recommend you use the Atomic wallet. Thank you for my opinion. Have a nice day.

I think there are some android version which does not support these wallets so they do not allow the installation process. And there are some wallets which have their own required android version. So who facing problems with them must try the other available trusted wallets to facilitate theirself.

If trust wallet is not available on the Google play store. Then you should try to use atomic wallet. The atomic wallet is easily available on the Google account. The atomic wallet is very safe and having huge security features. And many people of the world use this wallet without any fear of hacking or stolen your money.

I am using Trust wallet and wallet Wallet because it is a very good  and I have been using it for a long time. Trust wallet is a very good budget. I will also tell you that you too can download the trust  wallet website or create an account on this website and use it, it is very good.
