I never thought that Bitcoin would be a competitor in the cryptocurrency market. No currency can rise with Bitcoin. Bitcoin's market is always competitive, but no currency like Bitcoin can pump so much. Bitcoin can't be anyone's top competitor.

I think that this will be Ethereum, its second version will probably attract a huge number of users who will invest all their money in it (if it has a lot of good features that bitcoin does not have)

Bitcoin always leading crypto world by carrying large amount of crypto price but there is some good coin who can compete in future like ethereum. Ethereum has amazing features and it's withdrawal fee is less than bitcoin soon ethereum 2.0 is ready for lunching I hope it will compete with bitcoin in future.

I think that this is a Litecoin coin, this coin is the complete opposite of bitcoin and it is better than it in many ways : the speed of confirmations, the price, is less volatile (for some this will be a minus, but for me personally it is a plus, since I constantly wait for bitcoin to grow to pay them in online stores)

In my thoughts i believe there will be no any crypto currency that will overtake bitcoin in both price or uses. There are many good altcoins but they are very far in price than bitcoins and thats why i say bitcoin will remain number one.

I don’t think that coin can replace bitcoin , but XRP i think have a great future , and maybe we can see it in 100 $ , for me XRP is one of the top 5 cryptocurrency , and it have a great future.

It will be the hardest task ever for any crypto coin to compete Bitcoin by price and popularity.Specially the price is the biggest fact.There is no well known coin which average price is over 500$ while bitcoin's average price is over 7000$.I think Ethereum will be the biggest competitor of Bitcoin future.

Yes I think that you are right because ether is not that high but it is a good cryptocurrencies but I think taht there are still no alternate coin to be created that can rival up Bitcoin because it will be hard for them to beat Bitcoin or getting at a same level like Bitcoin

I am with you that the ripple is one of the wonderful currencies and one of the best currencies and it has the third rank in the market for a long time and it is sure that it has a great future and the price will rise a lot, but I do not think that it can touch 100$ one day !!! This is a very remote possibility !! The highest price of Ripple in its history of 3.2$ .

With the look of things , i don't think any althcoin will compete or take over the position of bitcoin, bitcoin has been ontop and no coin ever took it's place , even Etherum which is second after bitcoin is still down compared to bitcoin.

Of the currently existing ones, this is most likely some leading ether. But maybe in the future there will be a new type of cryptocurrency that will overtake, or even compete with bitcoin, which is very cool!

I think in future the coin that will rival bitcoin will definitely be Ethereum because it has much market impact than others and also has more demanding in cryptocurrency market than other with its fast transactions and less transactions charges.

Bitcoin has really gone far beyond our expectations and I don't think there is a coin or token that can rival it at the moment in the Cryptocurrency marketplace in terms of popularity or market value but the only coin i think can be a rival to bitcoin in the far future is the ethereum 2.0 which is yet to be launched officially.

If we consider only the price, then we already have a new bitcoin -- YFI (now its price is 18 000$, the high was 48 000$). As for worldwide appreciation, I strongly doubt that there will be any coin that can gain the same popularity as Bitcoin. Just because Bitcoin was the first.

Currently ethereum is the only currency that seems to be close to Bitcoin in terms of market cap but still I don't think it can rival Bitcoin because we all know that bitcoin is more valuable than ethereum and so that is a constant gap that Bitcoin will always give ethereum. I don't think any other coin would be able to rival Bitcoin again.
