In my opinion I believe that both are complementary, for example if it appears in the news that a strategic partner of the project withdraws due to disagreements, obviously this will lower the price due to more support, resistance or upward trends, this news could invalidate all the technical analysis accomplished.

I think this is very risky. Sometimes these news are paid or the writer maybe is trying to promote his coins. It is not easy to trade to news. Sometimes though they give some news that are very bullish but it is very hard to recognize them which is which.

 But they always find a way to recover from

Yes, it is risky to invest in crypto only based on what you read or hear in the news. Research is always necessary no matter how trustworthy the source is. Just because the price of a coin is increasing, it does not mean that it will keep increasing. It is important that you do you your research and study about the coin you want to invest in. Research does not guarantee a profit but it does increase the chances of you making a profit. So do not forget to do your research because you are the one who is investing and you are the one will make a profit or face a loss.

I dont know about this but would rather choose news as you can know whats about it and know the more accurate info you can get while price prediction is more to guessing and when it comes to this its more to logic technically so that means we cant get a very good concept of how it will turn out.

Sometimes I read news and not even care a lot lately. They can be very bad news of arrests of Bitmex and Okex Ceo. And this is making nothing to Bitcoin, price rises and keeps rising and all these news have no meaning. We don't need any news now because the chart is so positive that life changing money can be made.

Seeing the news that it is not safe to invest in cryptocurrencies makes you doubt if you are going to invest or not and then when in reality it is certain that the news does not know much about cryptocurrencies that is why they give that bad opinion but it is safe you should  to fall for scams.
