Check your topics from time to time

I was thinking to write about this in my last topic about spamming and creating topics about that but I think this will get more attention.

 

I check my topics (old/first too) from time to time to see if someone comment to me without quote my post/topic if there are some spam reply or off topic reply.

I check all comments for some topics too (all reply) to see if there are some spam reply or off topic reply.

 

My suggestion is for all members to check their topics from time to time to see if there are some spam reply or off topic reply to report them.

If you want to clean up forum from spamming you must to do this thing, because will be a lot easier to clean up forum if all members be included.

I think you will get a notification when someone comment on your topic like the quotes, and if there is any off-topics reply then the admins are doing their job perfectly, until now I checked my topics and nothing suspicious so far

I don't know about the deleting and all that but I can say this notification system of this forum is broken. Never ever I have a got a notification saying my topic has been replied or w/e. Not one time.

I think this is a good suggestion as some people do not quote you so you don't really get notified when they reply to your post but if people are spamming or going off-topic the moderators will be able to take care of it but it wouldn't hurt checking your old topics every once in a while just to make sure.

I understand what you mean, but at least people who want to stay in this forum longer time good thing will be that for start clean up their topics and after that of course if they have a time to report spam on other topics.

I'm reporting spammers and I observed action on a few of them, although quite a lot of posts that didn't have to do anything with the original post were not deleted as they should have been. Many look like an automated process from a bot, picking a few words from the post and posting a few sentences that were probably written by the coder as a template.

to clean or report spammers, topic makers do have to check directly the topics they have created, because replies directly to topics not go into notifications. the notification comes in is a reply to the post that we wrote in the topic that we made earlier.

Yes you have a point in this one. Because sometimes spammers focus on the old topics to hide their agendas. It also a great way to avoid deletion of some important topics in your account.

Well, great for you that you are creating a topic and receiving some replies or posts in it, but I want to ask in case you know it. What if I create a topic and want to view it? Is there a way to go directly to my published topics? Even it is not that popular and didn't receive replies? Please, I need an answer because I can't see my topics anymore.

Spamming should be gone in this forum, many are here to have a healthy discussion and have a qualtiy content of post, and some beginners are here to learned new information so stop spamming on the forum.

I do that sometimes, but the problem is that notifications reach me when there is a new response to my topic that I should look for again, this problem must be solved seriously, thank you .

You can simple go to your profil on the right side you can see button See my activity click after that on the left side you can see button Topics click and you can see all your topics. Bold tittle means that have new comments on your topic.

You get notification when someone quote you, but not for all comments. That is problem for which a talking about that members must to use quote not just to write like they talking with yourself.

I think that is a lot better to putt/insert notifications for deleting posts, because I see a lot of members want that and I understand them because I first want to know which topic was delete and to try to avoid such a topics.

Yes, the problem of notices should be solved, not all notifications reach me, as the posts that my owners do not quoute me in my post do not reach me and this is what I am talking about.

Do you have option that you get notification when someone comment on your topic without quote you?

And what you share image to create topic image to follow topic and image to get notification when some quote you, where is option to get notification when anyone write a comment on your topic without quote you?

You can set the topic to notify you when a new reply or reaction is given so there is no need to manually check anything. It is automated if you choose to.

If you are online, you can receive immediate notifications from who writes on your Topic or Post.

Second I ask do you get notification when someone comment you topic without quote you?

I know that you can see when is tittle letter bold that means that you have new comments on your topic.

I'm older member and I know that I pay attention which topics I comment but my posts still deleted, for example I get today 3 more deleted posts and I dont know which topic is that and I think that must to be changed.

You are right, many members just try to find other ways to write and they dont even do not pay attention is that useful or interesting just to write something.

And plus where some members just try to write something which dont have any connection with that topic, when I see such a reply I report and I suggest to all members to do that.

But like I say will be a lot better if all members check their topics from time to time and report spam off topic and copy/paste reply, I think forum will be cleaner for sure.
