  1. I've only recently come back to the forum after a long hiatus and I'm glad to see that a lot of measures have been put in place in order to regulate the quality of the content but unfortunately the sad reality is that many beginners and people only looking to cash in will post low quality content as low as they get paid.
  2. Trading is one area in life where emotions should definitely take a backseat as they would cloud your judgement and lead you to make suboptimal decisions that may lead you to lose all of your money.
  3. A lot of cloud mining websites are scams but if you find a legitimate one I think it would be profitable because it's like you are investing in your own mining rig but without the hassle of setups and maintenance but with a reduced income of course specially when the price of the coin you are mining bears.
  4. Indeed the bullrun is really good for people who have been holding on to the coins since they were low in value but it isn't as advantageous to people just looking to start investing in the coin because of the bullrun.

    Crypto world

Personally I fear losing all my cryptocurrency through scams and hackers and not having any idea about how to get it back if it does happen really frightens me, also when we talk about investing, I fear that the money I put into btc will not grow or even lose its value as the years pass.
  6. It would be difficult to implement a justice system or any preventive measures since cryptocurrency is decentralized, smart contracts even exist making them even more harder to track but I would suggest being more aware of the techniques scammers usually use to get money so that you can avoid it when you see it.
  7. Personally I use coinmarketcap more as I find the UI a lot more intuitive and easier to browse through, I use it to view most of the coins I want to know about and I find their graph to be perfect when I want to know the current market trend for a particular coin.
  8. Mining without using the proper devices is ill-advised as mining puts a lot of stress on the device during the mining process, this may lead to your devices breaking. You need to invest in ASIC before even considering to mine otherwise the electricity bills you incur and hardware you need to buy will not pay for themselves.
  9. I do hold a little bit of bitcoin but I think trading is a little bit too risky for my liking, I'd rather try other businesses for my main income and just have crypto as an additional income.
  10. I tried to do the same thing but my parents and grandparents aren't really adept at using technology so I would assume they didn't understand much about crypto but I did manage to get my sibling into it, they almost immediately got engrossed and they wanted to know a lot more, I guess it's more of a generational gap than anything else.
  11. Google authentication is the best for me as I use google a lot on all of my devices and it's nice to see that all my personal data is being protected, when I login even one of my accounts in another device the 2fa never fails to activate and sometime even annoys me when I don't have my phone on my person but that just means that it is difficult for other people to access it.

    Metamask wallet

Upon reading up on the app's description I can say that it looks like a good wallet for people who like to keep a stockpile of anything eth related, it emphasizes security and privacy through the identity feature and I think it's good for a wallet app, you can even use it on the brave browser which I have just been using recently.
  13. This is quite a nifty feature to have as I have been able to make a few friends while using this site for the past week, guess we can use this feature to have discussions between ourselves and not have to message everybody individually.
  14. Not a big user of the opera browser but it is surprising that they added a built-in wallet feature. I personally don't think it's safe to use this wallet as browsers may be more susceptible to hackers rather than just regular wallets.
  15. You only use a lot of electricity and computing power when you deal with crypto mining as you use ASIC to mine bitcoin and mining puts a lot of strain on these devices to accomplish the task but otherwise bitcoin does consume a lot of electricity.
