For me yes it can especially in financial problem and other problems. But sadly some of the government do not allow the cryptocurrencies to help them. I do not know the reason why.

In my opinion yes why not, BTC can help economic problems. But it doesn't mean BTC can solve every problem. For example right now BTC help us. Cause of corona there all shops, all works are closed, but we can earn some profit from here.
