Forum rank naming proposal (your input)

So I was talking to user @cryptokram about naming for forum ranks (I hope soon we will have some ranking system). He came up with a nice name for new users as pioneer.

If you guys are familiar with bitcoinTalk then you know their naming for ranking are:

Brand new > newbie > Jr member > member > full member > Sr member > hero > legendary

 

What do you think about the rank naming in this forum and how many rank do you prefer?

Well, for Me I am good with the PIONEER as it will say that we are those people who came here on the first day or week.

That is why i like to have that tag 🙂 
 but i hope there will be no ranking system like 3 months.
let us enjoy the forum and explore more, i hope that they will first be releasing the night mode version.

Why not? I found this could be an interesting topic to discuss. You never know the creative thoughts from users. I am looking forward to them and to have an enjoyable reading. 

 

A rank always will give you a boost to achieve the next. 

By the way, I hope admin will find some dark theme too.

These was proposed before we had out ranking system and we are glad that we have it now. Which means the topic served it's purpose.

I would be happy to see someone to lock it so that we do not see spamming here.

Building a ranking system takes a lot of attention. It will be the first thing which every player will focus and try to achieve. You can give ranking names as faces in life investor, employee, specialist, futurist etc. And i do like pioneer too.

I think between member and full member should be another rank too, as there is so much difference between the number of posts between these two ranks

Well this is what we have now:

Full Member: 1000-3000  
Sr. Member: 3000-6000
Hero Member: 6000-9000
Legendary: 9000-12000
VIP: 12000+

And I see the gap for member to full member is 700+ and full member to Sr. member is 2000+ and then from there one always needs 3000+ posts to get the next rank. It seems okay to me by the way.

there is a ranking system and every old member can increase his rank by posting more and creating new threads so his rank will be increase and if the member have most number of posts he will get reward from the moderator also.

Yes and it will be useful but if there are privileges with these upgrades that the member can have

There are ranks but useful because you do not get any additional benefits after any upgrade so the only thing is that the upgrade proves that you are an old member of the forum

I suggest that you give the opportunity to name your rank yourself after you get 5 stars for example and write 10k last

I think it would be great if in a certain rank you can benefit to it in different way just like if you are new you could post 30 post per day if you are jr. Member you could post 40 post per day just like that and also the rewards are also should increased. That's foe me.

Ranking system is not necessary, i think there some more need to be done before this ranking, but its a great idea, its like adding a another achievement in the forum. its like we are pursuing something that we want to get.

I think forum ranking system is a kind of motivation to fulfill with as to see higher rank in our profile as we continue doing good here in the forum, and some sort of achievement afterwards.

Your proposal is heard and approved, maybe if the admin and moderator still see this thread I have an additional proposal for it. Maybe the admin can eliminate the section that says members for ordinary users and only gives the name of the developer, admin, moderator only. Because giving a member section to all forum users is a bit confusing because above it there is already a ranking

I think it is good thing to have that ranking. But I also think the there will also a demotion. Because a lot of people just post with nonsense post. And if there would be rank and if there would have better opportunities with higher rank. I suggest that there would be a ground for rank demotion not only promotions. And I suggest that we should have other name  than that of the bitcoin talk so that we can have our own identity here in this forum.

I think for the name problem on the account rank, it will be the same as BitCointalk and I have no problem with that. it's just that there is one thing that is different, namely in this forum we can change the name of the rank to be custom according to our wishes. for example from a full member can be changed to an ordinary member, and I've seen that.

I also agree with that, indeed there is no problem with the name ranking that has been done now. And how to change to be custom, as you say. Because I am still confused, did not find what you said.

To me the rank name is good and ranking range is good too. also there is an option to change the rank name and this is very much interesting to me.
