that's why people make certain mining hardware. if you use your computer to mine BTC, it will damage your computer just to get a little amount of BTC. it will be okay if you just use your computer to bet POS coins.

I can't tell you how many times my computer crashed and went to the black or blue screen when mining. Ventilation is key when you are mining for long hours. Sometimes fans can't keep my laptop cool. I almost want to put my laptop in the freezer. I'm just kidding, but seriously you need to invest in good fans, when mining or you can have a serious problem on your hands.

I think laptops will get heated in a short time, so best is Desktops that are suitable for everyone. The Hardware is too costly so it is best thing to check go with a PC that can water into the Processor. I have seen some Motherboards that have cool water pipe where we can send water for cooling PC.

Its is possible to damage your computer, the computer will degrade more, as it used more. so you gonna replace it sooner. 

And the computer also will overheat and some components will fail because of that. 

You will overload some part of your computer with the mining and it will short circuit or it will blow the fuse.

Yes its is because of the Heat issue and also the CPU power as mining using CPU is different from mining using CPU because of Hashing Power.

That is besides the fact that at the end of the day there is high chance you won't successful mine and Bitcoin because the mining difficulty have greatly increased and only the specialized computers for mining (ASIC) corners it all. Better to build a rig or hire one if you plan on mining Bitcoin.

I think if during mining process, CPU keeps working at 100%, it gets hot and even overheats. As you know, heat is the most destroying factor for electronic boards. I once tried mining bitcoin but as soon as the heat went up I immediately cancelled mining. You can limit CPU processing power in control panel settings. You can do this not only for mining but also for everything that requires high CPU usage.

There is a great software named Speedfan. You can also use it to monitor the temperature of your GPU or CPU Cores.

That being said, I think CPU mining is not worth it.

My computer usually makes noises when I'm mining Bitcoin. It makes my fan go crazy, but I still do it anyway. The profit isn't the greatest, but something in me can't stop mining.

 

The people that make laptops and desktops should try to focus on a computer that is miner friendly. That could be a market that they haven't tapped into yet. Don't steal my idea, and yes I want my percentage if that becomes a thing LOL.

Yes Time is not for mine with PC, It  is far to think from this point ! you need to buy heavy machines which can solve algo for you ! and some other difficulties you  must have to face once you start mining (physical and virtual)
