Can cryptocurrency last forever?

Even though governments want to take down the blockchain system they fails and they will fail, so yes cryptocurrency will last forever, and develop.

It depends. Crypto may not last long once all coins are mined but maybe it will still work. I am not sure.

Cryptocurrency will last forever.

But if internet someday get disconnected worldwide, there is the end of cryptocurrency. If that happen also bank and government can't work like normal, some company will closed and bankrupt everyday because internet can't accessed. Some airport will closed because hard to know the plane will going to right way or not.

So overall cryptocurrency is hard to end, but currently only banning some coin can worked in some country.

This is a good question! Of course nothing will last forever but I think cryptocurrency can last for a very long time if certain requirements are met. The most influencing factor in prolonging the life of crypto is its users and supporters. If we encourage people to join crypto and continue using it ourselves, the chance of survival in the long term will be much higher because any technology will continue to exist as long as people deal with it. We must try to make it the number one global currency in the world. The presence of miners also plays a big role in crypto world. There should be some incentives (aside from mining reward) for miners to stay on and do their jobs because if miners leave their positions, soon the network may collapse.

Cryptocurrency last forever? To answer your question, we must investigate supply and demand factors. are there still many people who need crytpcurrency? If there are still many people who need it, crypto will continue, until there is no demand. The second factor is a rival product. Are there more reliable and modern cryptocurrency similar instruments? If it doesn't exist then cryptocurrency will still survive.

This question is something we can't predict as we're mere humans and can't see what the future of cryptocurrency will be. I do hope that it will last forever though if it works side by side with fiat I think it'll be something worth keeping making it last forever.

I think cryptorency will last forever. the possibility of the future will use digital currencies and that is cryptorency. everyone has started using it and feels that cryptorency is the best.

Nothing lasts forever so I would say no. But I think that if it goes away there will have to be new technology that replaces it. I think the concept of money could go away at some point and then we would have a money-less society, but there is no way that happens any time soon. I think crypto will be around for our lives, but in the future if there are quantum computers that crack the code then there can be problems and we will need quantum resistant cryptocurrency.

While there are still enthusiasts and resources, I'm sure Bitcoin will last forever, it will even open up new opportunities for the future by replacing the absolete ones.

I think crypto will survive if there are still many people who work in it even though many people are mining the coin, because it is a balance when someone cuts down, in crypto there must be someone who works for this forum to survive.

Indeed nothing lasts forever. And thus that's the answer to your question. Don't assume it would still be used when centuries passed. Computing power improves over time, and there might be a more effective framework than blockchain and cryptography that's far more advanced and breaks current limitations of cryptocurrencies.
