Which one is more risky? Short term or Long term?

I want to know that which one is more risky? Is it short term trading or Long term trading? I know trading is always risky but I want to get sure which one is more risky. It will be easier for me to take decision that how to invest and how much invest if I know that.

If we are talking about the risk it is riskier when you do short term trading because there is no guarantee that it will pump in a short period of time.

My answer is long time because now some long holders time is very bad when it's give good benefits when it's rice They confusing in situ it's big loss for that person short period holders are escape this storm

It is riskier to hold in short term holding because sometimes the market movements are really unpredictable and go in the opposite direction.

Short term trading usually trades for large amounts as the profit is around 1%-0.7%. To Long term trading you need to study well the traded coin, its fluctuations over the last time. It needs a lot of experience.

Short time trading is risky to me but I think if the price go down you can hold it for long term to avoid loss. without taking risk we cant make profit.

It's depends on your capital and your time to manage your assets, also what coins you want to trade. If you have small capital, but you have much time to manage your assets and you trade a cheap coin with high volume, i suggest you to trade short-term, how if you want to trade expensive coin like BTC? it's better to long-term.

Obviously short term trading because you won't able recover your losing amount easily in short term trade there have high chances to lose all asset in short time. But we can recover our loses in long term trade easily. So short term trade is so risky.

Well short term is riskier than long term because in short term, you are not sure or not guaranteed if you are going to earn because in short term you dont really know if the coin is really gonna pump.

both are risky short term and long term especially if you trade a shitcoin, we never know how long can survive that coin. Better to invest in potential altcoin like in the top coinmarketcap and hold for long term, you will earn profit for sure.

If you start without knowledge every strategy you use has big potential to loss. I only suggest to use stop loss and take profit before enter the market because that is your safety and to minimize risk. Never change the number before the price reach your limit, see you on market.

the two are risky  if you didnt choose wisly the coin that you will be trading on, but in the short term it is more dangerous because you are subject to your feelings as the market is very volatile, so you always advise long-term investment.

short term trading has big risk, i know long term is boring. and people has not much patient to hold their trading for so long. Even some people making money by short term and enjoying to take daily or average weekly profits and closing deals daily. But look at those millionaire, they invested money for very long term and holding it for future.

if you make your research about the coin you want to invest for long term then probebly you wont lose for long long term .

Short form of trading is more risky than long because more knowledge and emotion control are needed to trade successful in short while long only require waiting for the right time you're ok with the profit you make but emotion control is also needed in long either.

I agree that both are risky, but I think investing in short term is riskier, because in the short run, the market is full of noise and wrong signals, but in the long run the clearer picture of market trend and overall market situation can readily be seen.

Of course trading is full of risk, but if you ask which is more risky short-term or long-term investment, of course the short-term risk is higher, because there can be price drops that will result in losses. But if the price is going up I suggest you to trade daily.

I'd say short term, definitely.  The reason is that most traders make many trades throughout the course of a day, and exchange fees can eat away at their profit, plus if the trade goes wrong they won't profit at all.

 

Bitcoin is probably destined to go up in the long term, so I'd say there's much less risk in holding it and hoping to make a profit down the road.  The same is true for some of the better altcoins.  In the stock market it's been shown that more trading=less profit.  I don't know if that's strictly true for crypto, but I bet it is.

if many people say that the risk is greater in short-time, because the fluctuations in crypto run fast and we probably make the most mistakes in short-time trades. if I myself think the risk depends on the knowledge of a trader, can long-term risk is more risky than short-time.
