Does bitcoin waste electricity?

I don't think so bitcoin waste the electricity due to bitcoin run through the internet here no need electricity but mining waste electricity due to here computer needs to be online 24/7 to collect bitcoins.

Well thing may change a lot in future, bitcoin is just developing now. And it's community is really active and these people are doing their best to make bitcoin better. So it's not a big deal

Yes, mining can be very dangerous if you're not careful. I've had my fair share of power outages and sparks flying. I wouldn't suggest mining to anyone, especially new comers. I prefer browser and cloud mining, it's much safer than traditional mining. The old school mining that requires a lot of time and resources, it's slowly dying out. Now people are energy conscious, so they find alternative ways to mine.

For me i don't agree with it. Yeah transaction needs a huge power source but i think we could manage about it. And bitcoin is not a waste of electricity because we could getting good profit to it, to make the power source be more powerful. Many people are using bitcoin and i think they won't do such think that have bad impact on bitcoin.

Usually, Bitcoin runs through the internet not with electricity so there is no chance to waste electricity for bitcoin but if you want to start bitcoin minning then you need huge electricity which may waste of electricity.

Bitcoin uses electricity,computer hash power & internet.  And since Bitcoin is used in the business field, it cannot be said that Bitcoin is wasting, it can be said that Bitcoin is using electricity.

N.B- If the profit from the material used for the business is not considered a waste.

Yes it does really take electricity but comparing to your earnings? It is nothing. You should not get hinder by the ones that gives you something to pay because if you don't, then you also have that much to earn.

Working with cryptocurrency and bitcoin does not spend more electricity than a PC. But if you mine cryptocurrency then electricity is consumed by mining equipment.

the point theyre making is that mining bitcoin is a waste of electricity even tho it makes bitcoin that people use as money, they want to stop mining because they say it consumes a lot of electricity for no reason needed.

I don't know much about the electricity for bitcoin mining because I don't try to mining with large equipment. I only use a small rig with 5 VGA, and I don't think that it is too expensive to pay for the electricity. But if we talk about the node of the bitcoin server, then I guess that it will need more power to make the node always online every day. Maybe you can search more on Google about what you want so you can find the real answer from the expert. But you can try to mining bitcoin too if you want.

Bitcoin don't waste electricity or your internet if you use it wisely you can earn a lot of Bitcoins using electricity and in your internet. It will back your bills into Bitcoin you need to work it hard if you want to earn. Like miners spend amount of electricity and the return of investment will return.

Though bitcoin consumes power but in return you can get coin how come its considered as waste. U can compare it as a transaction or conversation of energy where power become money or crypto coin

Yes I can say the bitcoin will be the waste of electricity if you trade everday but you trade without profit because the computer you are just using it use electricity also internet bundles.

Yes bitcoin need extra power for mining.If you minng bitcoin you need a good power and you have need also a backup your electrycity like Ips (instant power supply) cause when electrycity loadshedding your ming machine is risly potision.And also possible to dead your all miner machine.So use a powerfull ibstant power supply.Its very helpfull for your miner.

Well if you are a miner there is huge electricity consumptions,it also requires electricity if we are going to use computer,laptops and smartphones in doing trading and doing jobs to earn bitcoins.But it doesn't require big electricity consumptions just like few years ago.
