Why some people think long term holding is bad?

They think some bad coins and tokens performance is very bad for long term such as quarkchain recently launched his main net and now we find even 100 percent in negative price.

Long term holding is not bad, but just hodling is bad. If you dont take action, when the price goes up like 20k and wait for the coins to go up more, then you loose the opportunity of making money and have to wait for the next window. So long term holding is not bad, but holding for the sake of holding is bad.

Well this depends on people of what they really want some hold for long term to recover for looses while some hold for future benefit so there nothing bad one can say even the btc has given the highest results in long term only.

You are right in saying that we need a lot more development in trading, but in the long term, trading is more profitable. If you hold it now, you will definitely get a profit if the price goes up.

Long term holding is usually more profitable but you will not always earn more if you hold more. Sometimes you can earn more profit if you sell sooner. I think long term plan is better for those who have enough money to spend in their daily lives and they have separated their fiat income from crypto and have set aside an exclusive investment just for cryptocurrencies. They just buy and hold and don't think about it anymore regardless of what may happen in the future. They just wait and check prices and don't have any anxiety because even if prices fall, it doesn't affect their main income.

This is not completely true. There are many coins which are not good enough and its future not bright. So if you hold them for long term you will not be benefited.

I do not think that why they think like that because I am a long term holder and I am getting a lot of profit. If they will hold for longer then they can see the profit of it. If they will sell in short term then how will they find it.

because as the question suggests then it takes long and there is no assuarinty that it might hit where one wants it, say for example you look at what happened to the guy who bought a pizza with 10,000 bitcoins, then had he known that bitcoin would hit even 19 k per BTC, he would have said no thank you , I will take my btc and wait, even 10K per btc is als something else, because by now he would be worth 100 million usd

I do not know about the deep reason behind this opinion.But According to my opinion if some coin giving us good profit then this is good that we sell it and book our profit instead of holding it for long time.

It is very obvious that those blaming and calling long term holders names, are out for short terms, anyone out for short terms gets frustrated when there is no price increase within a short period of time.

Because they are making a good profit in in daily based trading some time its depends on market situation how markets react but I always preferred long term trading because there is a less chance of loss i always earn profit in long term trading my daily base or short term trading experience is not good always feel trouble in short term trading

I like long term holding but I don't know why  some people think that long term holding is bad, may be they have their own reason because I think long term holding is beneficial as you can directly get profit on increasing the rate of crypotcurrency and you lose nothing when the rate goes down.

holding is good if you pick some strong and powerful coins, like bitcoin, eth, etc.. that one who has a good market cap. 

if you are holding coins that have only 10k$ in daily marketcap then those are not worth to hold because there are no interest on them and the probabilities that their price will grow are very small

Apparently they just don’t understand all the advantages of storing cryptocurrencies, or they don’t understand at what point you need to hold the crypto. This is not always good, but with the right use of coins, storage will bring you profit.
