A quick look up on the ratings feature.

Today I would like to discuss something that you might be familiar with concerning the ratings feature on how to find out how many participants gave you rates on a certain reaction being it positive,love,or negative one as demonstrated in the shared screen shot.

 

Reactions/ participants reacted;

 

Love from 3 participants.

+1 from 1 participant.

+2 from 4 participants.

+4 from 5 participants.

+5 from 3 participants.

 

Basically this helps you to know the quality of your topic or post by looking at the number of participants reacted on a certain rate for example if five members rated on -5 you will know that something is wrong with your post and need to improve or rather work hard next time and probably you will be motivated if the opposite happens.

The new ratings system is good, but the problem is in the irregularity of the payment process, in addition to the failure of some members to read the posts before the evaluation was made, especially in the recent period there is no longer any interaction from the members in the forum This matter has to do with the ratings that you are talking about

Your topic really good to know how many participants gave their rates to decides our post good or bad, and you're suggestion if any post received -5 negative points then that post Creator need to improve their post quality, but what about those members who gives -5 or+5 point's randomly,

so in my opinion both those  ( useless post creator + randomly  points giver) members, need to understand this reputation system importance because this system very good so don't misuse this system.

You are right mate those who misuse the ratings feature must try to change from their bad behaviour and start doing what is right for the well-being of this forum as well as other participants.

@George10 rating is depend on your post and member.. To get rating you must need to make good topic or post and your post can be deserve different rating From different members.. No matter how useful your topic is but still Some member give you +1 rating though your post deserve +4 rating.. So dont be sad About it becuase only read senior member can understand the useful of topic so they usually give you +5 reaction which you deserve.. Your post show us the value of different rating which also important for us to know..

I have always wondered how this rating system worked, I am new here so I really had little clue on how it was but now it is clear. But I have one little doubt, you know that plus symbole near the quote symbol, what exactly is that?. @George10

I have read a question about the heart and it seem that it count as +1 but because I was not convinced that it is, I think it is better to use the + reactions. I am not tell that this is not count but I am have some fears about it and maybe it is best to use the plus, but how all may like to give I am not mind.

Actually it's very well feature for knowing the quality of a post. If you see a post with huge positive ratings you will definitely go and read it. Sometimes we skip long and lengthy post. But if it has good ratings then we will give our time. It also give extra hand to the moderators for filtering the platform. And removing cryptotalk spoilers.

I like the reactions systems a lot. I haven't met something similar in other forums and makes it a great system to rate posts and comments of other members. We have 50 reactions to give every day and I'm doing the daily 20 posts while trying to look for meaningful and top comments to rate from other members. The ones that deserve get it from me and I hope that everyone will start reading more posts from other members.

This is a nice topic for discussion @George10 well we all need to understand both positive and negative reputations are important and made to be given out to members post's accordingly not improper.

It's left for the topic writer to sit analyse and sort out the ratings given to him to satisfy his work whether it's good, interesting and useful to the forum or vice versal.

The total amount of rating gained will also enable one to know and guide him on how to post next topic, improving his language construction and focusing on key words.

This rating will also ginger one to feel comfortable and motivated to publish additional topics ahead.

that is right , i always check how many reputation i got and how much helpful my post was , it is really great when you see your topic was helpful and people actually giving reputation because of that , even if i got none i don't get sad , this is encourage me to search better before i write any post later

Reactions to our posts will tell us if we have write something meaningful or something useless. I agree with you, if your post will receive more than 3 or more positive reactions then it's useful. But if it will receive more than 5 negative reactions, you must review it maybe there would something useless in that post.

@yato987 the feeling of getting reaction is very good we all know.. But how it lead us feel when we get a negative reaction from any member without any reason... Its really feel me boring becuase what i dont deserve but still members give us.. So we must report about this to spammer.. Yah if sometimes we dont get reputation its not a big problem but we have explain the news in the topic and complete our activity so i think its enough

That's such useful information everyone should know about this because many members doesn't know about rating how to use these ratings so this a a very useful posts you can learn from this posts you have to know about the reputations because many members give negative react to the meaningful posts which is not good..

Yes, this is a good thing to know the importance of what we are publishing.  This will make us pay attention to our mistakes, improve the posts we make, and know if what we write is useful and interesting from others. Also know the reactions of members to this post.

@Dorjoy12 this point is important too and that is right , it gets me depressed when i get negative reputation when i see that i don't deserve it but we can do nothing since people opinions are not the same , but in case i get spammed with negative then we should report
