Do you guys usually avoid doing KYC when registering on exchanges and doing bounties?

To be frank I do not like doing KYC at all and never did it.

I wonder what are your thoughts on this issue.

I think that kyc verification is needed on every exchange and transaction that you will do. It is needed because you will need skme backup information if you exchange money or transfer on other wallets. Verification and account security is important to cryptocurrencies.

I don't like KYC verifications site, i prefer to participate in anonymous sites that doesn't requires KYC, I can't disclose my confidential identity online for the purpose of earnings

It is sometimes so hard to trust them by giving your KYC, because it is hard, they might give your details to others or sell it in other people needed a fake identity.

I like doing KYC because its the top security, KYC helps to identify the members who joins a site if they are good members or scam members and thats why we need to upload our legal government documents in KYC.

Time is the ultimate weapon!

Never KYC. We should always try to stay away from KYC. Everyone is now scamming in the name of KYC. The number of scams is increasing day by day. If you are asked to do KYC at work on a site, we must stay away from it and no personal information can be given.

For me I like anonymous transactions, I don't like doing KYC and I haven't done it before, because most times it's seems not safe to give out our personal information because most of this bounties might be scam and could use our KYC for something else.

I do not think that anyone else will need your photo documents. Personally, I go through KYC without the slightest suspicion if the project requires it. Maybe just for some reason you can’t get through. Thats another thing

Is kyc an important thing that we need to have in all sites please help me out to know if its true or not please help me out to know

It is not important for us users and most of all it is even dangerous. KYC is only important for those who owns those sites and the governments who sometimes requires it.

I am the same. I do not like to do the KYC. Frankly, I do not trust this method in verification. I do not like to Sen my photo to strange sites or platforms in internet.

But what about legit sites, will you like to undergo their verification, or it is better you should go to sites that don't ask for verification?

It depends if I really want to use the exchange and it needs kyc, I do. I have actually done kycs for some exchanges and for.bounties  I don't think I will do I will mostly do for some exchanges that I want to use than for bounties.

Yes my dear friend I also complete my kyc verification in some genuine exchange and some legit airdrops, so kyc depends which project we do because some genuine programs runs they want do kyc compulsory, so I verify my kyc to participate in this programs.

If the platform is trusted and reliable then KYC are not that much of a big deal. Most of the big exchanges require KYC to remove the transaction limits and your information is safe with them. But when it comes to bounties and airdrops, it is hard to trust your personal information to them.

But there are some things you will want to perform that you will require KYC exchanges, I prefer anonymous wallets but I have found it difficult to say anonymous on exchanges, but if you can,  it is better to remain anonymous.

Simple anwer is that it is not important and you might be at risk verifying KYC to unknown sites, be careful.

KYC is not even important for those site owners, it think it is important to the governments they are the ones requiring us to identify ourselves in those sites.

There are USA exchanges that the law may force to open information about its clients. Then I understand that you need to provide KYC to work there. And there are exchanges that the law does not force KYC to require from customers but they do.

Yes, just choose those exchange that doesnt require KYC if you dont want to pass then dont it doesnt matter, usually they want KYC if your withdrawal limit is needed to change.

I also do not like the process of sending my documents to any party, although sometimes I have to do this when I want to sell a coin that I own on a platform that requests documents, but I do that and I hate it.

I think it is normal to complete KYC on some exchanges which are popular and trusted, with airdrops I don't like when some project requests for KYC because it is not a 100% chance of profit.

Initially I also don't like to provide KYC. According to me 50% of the bounties are only given when we provide our KYC. Sometime it's not possible to predict whether the website if genuine or not and giving our personal details to this website is very dangerous.

Yes I think tgat you are right and I think that personal information should not be publicized and I think that it is not that important to have kyc because I think that kyc can be dangerous to the people that wants security in their personal informations

there are many exchanges that ask for the KYC as a security measure to know the identity of those who trade because as we know there are assets worth thousands of dollars that can be susceptible to money laundering, altough a tedious process is necessary if we want to invest in that exchange.

Sometimes it is necessary but it would be wise to limit it just for these reasons and perhaps try to find ways to avoid doing any KYC. Even the big exchanges that claim to have top security make mistakes. Recently names, addresses and other information of Kraken users were accessed by an attacker. I don't feel safe holding money or senting my private information to any exchange.

Filling KYC is so boring if you don't have the specific data then it doesn't allowed to transact any kind of payment. But it is important because it  judges the customer's activities. It also provides protection from fraud and losses due to illegal funds and transactions.
