It depends on your perspective of the market, if you are a holder it does not make sense to convert to USDT at the moment, but if you are a trader then it is normal to convert to USDT to take profits.If you have BTC at the moment you could take profits or just wait, in my case I operate thinking of accumulating more satoshis

Besides Bitcoin the rest altcoins just give a promise of decentralization, just as the original post states. Litecoin, Bitcoin Cash, XRP are not decentralized. Even Ethereum is considered centralized and basically Vitalik is considered similar to a CEO of a major company. Bitcoin is true decentralization, peer-to-peer and based on consensus algorithm. Mining is decentralized and will be even more distributed in the future.

For me I think bitcoin will still be the outstanding coin among all cryptocurrencies, if banks launches thier own coin , I don't think it will make bitcoin loose it's value , because bitcoin gives us full control of our earnings, but the cryptocurrencies which will be launched by bank won't give us that much privacy.

Banks and bitcoin in my opinion bitcoin will always win, because the currency of bitcoin cannot be governed by the government, but bitcoin must also be vigilant with its value, if it is too large then the government will switch from banks to bitcoin which causes its value to fall.

I was send litecoins from yobit to coinpot and it takes 30 minutes the coins to be visible in coinpot wallet then i transfer bitcoins from paxful to localbitcoins and it took only 20 minutes for the bitcoins to arrive in my wallet but the fastest coin i ever saw its XRP coins.. I transfer them from DROPZ to coins ph wallet and it only took 6 seconds for the coins to arrive in my wallet

I think its not completely safe, though peoples are commenting with lots of opinion. Crypto-currencies are not fairly stable, it can't be proper criteria to sell or buy to many people

I don't think it will. No coin has even come closer to either it's marketcap or it's price. This alone is an indication that Bitcoin isn't slowing down and would always remain at the top despite any circumstances
