You are not wrong, there are many other coins to mine, and mining difficulty for bitcoin is so high. A gold coin to mine is monero, zcash and ethereum classic.

You are right, there are still better coins to mine, for me, I like to mine ethereum classic but I was told zcash is good also. Doing more than btc minimg is better.

Mining was profitable in past days, but for now it is not very profitable because scammers are many than legit mining platforms. Many people are fear to mining because of scammers, but for me any coin is good when you find a legit mining platform.

Mining equipment is generally not that cheap for mining most of cryptocurrencies. If you are focused for a long-term mining activities, you might give a try on Ethereum. Sometime Ethereum miners managed to make a life changing profits, you might check the recent situations. Another option can be Zcash or XMR. In the case of XMR mining, it can be done by using HTC blockchain phone too.

It is very hard to know the best cryptocurrencies  to mine, but studying the coins will be good. But with my findings, I see ethereum to be one of the most profitable coins to mine. Also is Montero too.

for me i prefer to mine with bitcoins , mining require a strong GPU and CPU and risk to lose them later because they will be working unstoppable and because of this i would prefer to mine with known and high currency which is bitcoin

Not that bitcoin mining large capital, it is both of them that need large capital in order to earn good profit. The more the capital the more the earning if the right mining ASICs are bought and the right mining pools ate joined. Also, is the calculation of the the electricity usage which should be cheap.

Obviously miners first choice bitcoin to mine but bitcoin mining not easy process, because its need so much funds if we have sufficient funds to buy costly equipments then bitcoin mining profitable, but now halving later I don't think bitcoin solo mining gives profit for Small miner's.

As far as I've heard, Ethereum would be the best cryptocurrency for mining, or at least one of the best.

From my point of view the Bitcoin is that the top most profitable mining currency everywhere the planet . but mining bitcoin using computer means an enormous waste of your time . ASIC tools are profitable but i dont have that much money to take a position thereon . albeit i manage to urge it, i do not skills a few years will fancy return my investment and the way much time will fancy make some profits.
