Spoiler

The year 2020 has seen an increase in the use of decentralized finance (DeFi) protocols and applications. The DeFi sector has undergone a boom similar to that of altcoins, which boomed in 2017. At the time, the altcoin boom was driven by new investment opportunities and ICOs. But now we have Uniswap.

DeFi has grown from small beginnings with less than $ 500 million in total locked value (TVL) across all platforms in August 2019, to a thriving ecosystem of nearly $ 9 billion in TVL value a year later. This rapid expansion has led to a number of yield farming or liquidity supply opportunities for investors who want to earn interest on their crypto assets.

In a previous guide on DeFi, we described how to get a loan using a crypto collateral. In this one, we will delve into the art of token swapping using decentralized exchanges (DEX) like Uniswap. A DEX is simply an exchange that does not have a central point of control, it is peer-to-peer or P2P (person to person, in Spanish) that runs autonomously only with network fees.

In contrast, centralized exchanges (CEX) like Coinbase and Binance operate for profit and need to charge fees, spreads, and commissions to make money for their CEOs, employees, and shareholders.

Spoiler

https://cryptotalk.org/topic/274874-proof-of-work-pow-algorithm/

Spoiler

The initial concept of Proof of Work was developed in 1993, as a way to prevent denial of service attacks and misuse of services (such as spam on the network). It consisted of asking some type of work from users, usually involving computer manipulation.
In 2009, Bitcoin introduced an innovative way to use the Proof of Work algorithm, as a harmonic algorithm. In this case, a proof-of-work algorithm is used to validate transactions that are grouped into blocks, which are linked together to form the blockchain.
Since then, the Proof of Work algorithm has spread to become a widely used consensus algorithm, and it is now used by many cryptocurrencies.

How does the PoW algorithm work?

In short, the two miners compete with each other to solve complex computer puzzles. These puzzles are difficult to solve, but when solved, solutions can be quickly checked. Therefore, once the mineral finds the solution to a new mass, it can broadcast that mass to the grid. All other miners will then validate the solution and confirm the block.

Bitcoin

Bitcoin is a blockchain-based system maintained by the teamwork of decentralized nodes. Some of these nodes are known as miners and are responsible for adding new blocks to the blockchain. In order to do so, miners need to try to guess a pseudo-random number (aka nonce).
This number, when combined with the data presented in the block and passes through the hash function, should produce a result that matches certain conditions, for example, a hash that starts with four zeros. When a matching result is found, the other nodes will validate the score and the metal node will be rewarded with the block reward.
Therefore, it is impossible to add a new block in the main chain without first finding the valid random number (nonce), which in turn generates a specific block solution (called the block hash). Each validated block contains a block hash representing the work the metal has accomplished, which is why it is called a "proof of work".
Proof of Action helps protect your network from many different attacks. A successful attack requires a lot of computational power and a lot of time to do the calculations, and thus it will be ineffective because the cost incurred will be greater than the potential rewards of attacking the network.

One of the problems with Proof of Work is that mining requires expensive computers that consume a great deal of energy. Although, this is what guarantees network security.
Although proof of work may not be the most effective solution, it is still one of the most popular ways to reach consensus in blockchain. There are indeed alternative approaches and approaches that attempt to solve the problems, but only time will determine which method will be the successor to the PoW algorithm.

https://cryptotalk.org/topic/276817-how-do-you-explain-blockchain-technology-to-someone-who-doesnt-know-it/

Spoiler

Blockchain technology is a distributed ledger, which stores transaction details in the form of immutable records or non-modifiable records (called blocks) which are secured using cryptography. Let’s consider the example of a school where Blockchain is similar to a digital report card of a student.

Say, each block contains a student record that has a label (stating the date and time) of when the record was entered. Neither the teacher nor the student will be able to modify the details of that block or the record of report cards. Also, the teacher owns a private key that allows him/her to make new records and the student owns a public key that allows him to view and access the report card at any time. So basically, the teacher owns the right to update the record while the student only has the right to view the record. This method makes the data secure.

Buying cryptocurrency means we keep the amount of money we have, because fiat has a character whose value continues to decline, imagine if we continue to keep fiat at the same price but there is a decline in value without us knowing. However, if we keep it in crypto, the value of our money will grow and that can be seen. That’s why crypto can protect the amount of money we have.

https://cryptotalk.org/topic/277012-educational-toys/

Spoiler

firstly:

An educational toy is a product which is used to teach children important skills while simultaneously entertaining them. Toy blocks have traditionally been used to teach children important skills such as physics, gravity, and spatial connections. Many toy blocks will also be shaped like letter in the alphabet, and this will allow children to develop reading skills as well.  The use of toy blocks were first mentioned by Witold Rybczynski in the 18th century.

Though toy blocks may seem simple to an adult, they teach a number of complex skills to children. Using toy blocks will teach children how to use their fingers and hands in order to manipulate objects. Handling toy blocks with other children will also teach them the benefits of social interaction. They will also learn simple math skills such as adding and subtracting. These child educational toys will also help children develop their creativity by allowing them to add blocks together to create unique designs.

In addition to toy blocks, many children today use electronic media to learn. An example of this would be LeapPad. This is a product which resembles a talking book, and was one of the best selling educational toys in the US with sales in excess of $460 million. It is responsible for teaching children important reading skills. It also received the prestigious Toy of the Year Reward. While this product teaches reading, other child educational toys such as iQuest teach social science and math. Children can save data using a solid state card which comes with the device.

Though toys such as building blocks are an indispensable teaching tool for children, electronic media is important because we live in an electronic world. As children grow older, they will be expected to use computers and other electronic devices, and getting them familiar with these devices while they're young will allow them to gain important skills they will need as adults. The market for child educational toys has continued to increase at a rapid rate. A good company which sells these toys can be found at educationaltoy.us.

While Texas Instruments is a company which are known for their graphing calculators, they have also produced a number of educational products for children. Some of these are the Speak & Math, Speak & Read, and Speak & Spell. These toys teach children important skills such as math, reading, and spelling. These toys were revolutionary, and were responsibe for changing the way educational programs work. These toys are far from being mere novelties. Toy pianos have also been designed for children whose parents want them to be piano players when they get older.

The child educational toys industry makes billions of dollars each year, and the industry is expected to grow. Many believe that this is a result of the home schooling trend which growing in the United States. Many parents have chose to teach their children at home, and these toys are catered to them. They are excellent tools which will give children the skills they need to succeed when they're older. There are many educational toys which focus on specific skills.

Thank you for reading.

Yes, the cryptocurrency market is very attractive, but it is not called the "Wild West" for no reason - in the absence of regulation it is the best trap for people looking for ways to enrich themselves quickly, including those who want to get rich at your own expense. The times you least expect. Of course, when choosing a company, platform, portfolio, service, partner or fund, you should give preference to full transparency, a positive reputation, and certain guarantees. However, with strict adherence to security measures, use of extra precautions, and analysis, the cryptocurrency market is still a unique place in the IT industry, where the ability to make fortune through speculation is parallel with the potential for making incredible things come true.

If you’re looking to trade cryptocurrency without supplying any KYC information, YoBit may be the exchange for you. It transacts around $60 million in daily volume and supports a wide variety of trading pairs.

YoBit is a relatively simple and intuitive platform, but it does take some getting used to trading if you are not already handy with trading fundamentals.

The exchange also seems to be very popular in international circles (language options include in English, Russian, and Chinese and is available all over the world. It also has a live chat within the trading interface, with languages available in English, German, Arabic, Chinese and Russian. It currently has the most trading pairs of any exchange, and accepts both USD and Russian Ruble.

However, the platform’s anonymity seems to be working against it on the public relations front, which seems to be a challenge for any organization without a central publicly available party. However, since it has been around since 2014 and does boast several authentic positive reviews, we’re inclined to give them the benefit of the doubt.

YoBit advocates can point to its presence and reputation on forums like BitcoinTalk and all user-reviews online should be taken with a grain of salt: whether positive or fake. A positive perspective will applaud YoBit’s support for anonymity, which is a core tenet of the self-sovereignty ethos of many cryptocurrency traders.

A few other risks worth mentioning is that the company hasn’t outlined any of their security practices, but it has seemed responsible and active in protecting its users from hacks (as evidenced with the prior ETC 51% attack).

YoBit also lists altcoins for minor listing payments. While the platform itself may be legitimate, many of the unchecked altcoins can be exceptionally risky.

YoBit has been operating for over five years, which does grant it some legitimate tenure in a relatively nascent industry.

Regardless, as with all exchanges, we advise users to tread very carefully: only trade what you can afford to lose and don’t risk large sums of cryptocurrency on the platform– words of warning particularly pertinent for smaller exchanges with large numbers of altcoins like YoBit.

https://cryptotalk.org/topic/311071-block-whatsapp-how-to-do-it-consequences-and-tricks-to-bypass-the-blockade/

Spoiler

Surely, you have ever thought about blocking a WhatsApp contact. The most used messaging application in the world allows us to communicate with all the contacts that we have added, and with those who have our phone number. If you don't want someone to be able to talk to you, the best option is to block it from the WhatsApp application, something that is done in a very simple and fast way.

Today, we show you how to block someone on WhatsApp, the consequences this has, how to know if they have blocked you, and the best tricks related to blocking. If you want to know everything about this topic, stay with us, as we are going to tell you everything right now.

How to block a contact on WhatsApp
Bulo WhatsApp again

Block a contact you have saved
To block a contact from your phonebook on WhatsApp, you just have to go to the menu, and in the privacy settings, add a user to the blocked list. Not clear to you? We explain it to you step by step.

Tap the Menu Button

Go to the settings section

Now, go to the account section

Go to blocked contacts

Tap the add contact icon

Select the contact you want to block

That easy. In this way you can make a list of blocked contacts on WhatsApp. You will be able to consult it to know at all times which contacts you have blocked, quickly and conveniently.

Block a contact that you don't have saved
In some cases, someone may get our phone number and try to talk to us. If you want to block someone who is not in your contact list, you just have to do the following.

Go to chat with the unknown number

Open the menu

Hit block contact

It is done. You have blocked someone who was not on your list in the WhatsApp application. He will no longer be able to speak to you with that phone number, and it will automatically be added to your list of blocked contacts.

What happens when blocking someone on WhatsApp?

We have already seen the process to block a contact on WhatsApp, but what happens next? Can that contact contact us again? Can you see our profile picture? These are some consequences of blocking someone on WhatsApp:

The WhatsApp messages that I send you will not reach you, as will their statuses (since they are sent as a normal image, and WhatsApp blocks the sending). Nor will he be able to call you or make video calls.
They won't see your profile picture or the last connection time (which may reveal that you've blocked it).
They won't see your WhatsApp statuses.
They won't know if you are online.
You will not be able to send messages (or files), call or make video calls to blocked contacts.
However, even if you block the contact, they will still have you in their contact list, and you cannot do anything to prevent it. What you can do, if you wish, is remove it from your own list. For this you have to delete it from your contact list, that way WhatsApp will update and delete that person. If you plan to block a contact on WhatsApp, you already know everything there is to know about it.

If you are the one who has been blocked, the messages you send to whoever has blocked you will only appear with a tick, since the double tick means that the other person has received it and, as is evident, if someone is blocked they will not receive your messages. If you want to know more about this, we recommend our article on how to know if you have been blocked on WhatsApp.

Tricks for blocked users on WhatsApp
Featured WhatsApp

They may have blocked you on WhatsApp, but you have the urgent need to write to the person who did it. From here, we invite you to respect the privacy and the decision of the person who has blocked you, and it is your responsibility to try to communicate with someone who has decided not to write any more.

If someone has blocked you, it is your responsibility to contact them again.

Even so, it is possible to send a WhatsApp message to someone who has blocked you. There are several methods, so we list them below so you can try the one you want.

Ask a friend for the phone number, add the contact to your list and send the message

Ask a friend to make a WhatsApp group in which your blocked contact is, they can read the messages

Create a virtual number, link your WhatsApp account, and write from that number

Block someone on WhatsApp without them noticing
There are many who ask us if it is possible to block someone on WhatsApp without them realizing. We are very sorry, but the answer is a resounding no. If you block someone on WhatsApp, they will not see your profile picture, they will not be able to access your multimedia content, States… They will know that you have blocked them, inevitably.

If you decide to block someone, they will know it instantly, so no, there is no method to block someone on WhatsApp and go unnoticed.

https://cryptotalk.org/topic/313621-how-to-create-a-new-wallet-in-metamask/

Spoiler

Create a new wallet:

Opening and setting up an account with MetaMask is very simple. First, download the MetaMask web browser extension. MetaMask has extensions for Chrome, Firefox, Opera and Brave browsers. Here I leave the link: 👉 https://metamask.io/

Click the button for your web browser and add the MetaMask extension for your browser. Once you get to the extension store on these browsers, search for MetaMask and click on “Add to” browser.

Once it has been installed, an icon the shape of a fox will appear on the top right-hand corner of your browser.

The next step is to click “Get started” on the webpage and select the option to create a new wallet.

Afterwards, you will be asked to create a password for your account. It is best to create strong passwords that other people can’t easily guess such as your birthday. Thus, a secure password should contain numbers and letters arranged uniquely.

Next, you will be provided with a unique 12-word backup phrase to back up your wallet. Some people would save the backup phrase in their computer's notepad and save it on their laptops or hard drives. This is not advisable as hackers could gain access to the recovery key if they attack your computer. Therefore, to keep your funds safe, write them down on a piece of paper and keep the document in a place where it cannot be lost.

Next, you will be asked to confirm your secret backup phrase. Once you do that, your account is set and ready to use.

Ether is the cryptocurrency built on top of the open source Ethereum blockchain, which runs smart contracts. The cryptocurrency acts as a fuel that allows smart contracts to run unlike bitcoin, which is meant to be a unit of currency on a peer-to-peer payment network. Ether’s supply is not capped like that of bitcoin and its supply schedule, often described as minimum necessary to secure the network, is determined by members of Ethereum’s community. A majority of decentralized applications are based on Ethereum and the cryptocurrency accounts for the highest percentage of the total funds staked in the DeFi projects.

Note: These kind of bots try to copy the text but replaces the words with synonyms, or sometimes with opposites. And the end result is often a soup of fancy words that don't make any sense. Original messages are harder to find though.
