I do agree with him. People often think and relate Bitcoin to Gold because they have the same limited supply. Although the thing is, Gold has real-life applications. It could be in electronics, or as a precious gem that has proven itself valuable for thousands of years.

 

Unlike Bitcoin, that has no established, solid foundation of community to "use" it as a currency. Only a very few percentage of merchants accept Bitcoin as a payment as of now. And thus when Bitcoin crashes, nothing will save it, not even the idea of it being a safe haven.

Yes i am agreed with the statement. As bitcoin is a volatile item so it is less trusted as compared to gold. but it is good to earn bigger than gold. everything have risks and benefits but i prefer bitcoin on gold.

I personally think that it really is not a safe haven, especially for people who are not into taking risks. As we all know that it is a decentralized system, and with that being said, people who engage into the cryptoworld are risk takers who are not afraid of the possible loss in the future.

yes, i agree with you.it's a new field for  cheaters and hakers.we need to more careful about our security. I think maybe we can control it. for complete your achievement you have to take risk. this is the way to business.

I think everything has a head and tail, that is both acceptable and bad.Bitcoin is acceptable as it help in winning hood benefit and is awful on the grounds that it at times lead to misfortunes, I think Everyone has their very own inclinations over Bitcoin. Well bitcoin is a safe haven to me, I can convert my flats to bitcoin and hold it for a year and get more than 30% increase on my investment no bank or financial service can give me that except bitcoin.

I think that if you zoom out the charts it isn't actually really volatile. It is a line moving always upwards. Perhaps someone should teach O'Sullivan some economic terms and why he is wrong about this.

I think if you put your Bitcoin somewhere else without a wallet then it is not safe at all because your Bitcoin can be hacked from there, but keeping your wallet will keep your Bitcoin in maximum security.

There's no safe in every economy activity, not even gold. I agree with him but I see his opinion like people scare that bitcoin will take over their asset and life at the same time. Just understand bitcoin and take the benefits, use as the function and free economy will be yours.
