Is YouTube trying to go against cryptocurrency ?

Scammers miss used the platform of this great video streaming site , YouTube. To save innocent users and prevent scammers for creating the cryptocurrency related scam projects, YouTube has already restricted and deleted so many such videos and channels.

well it has been long time since first signs of youtube agaisnt crypto world came to our attention but right now i think they can not stop crypto world. even governments start to recognize cryptos so i think they will stop blocking some contentc which has already started.

Yeah I have heard that many times ! Youtube is trying to delete everything about crypto ! and we don't know the reason until now ! maybe because it's affect on it's earning !

No I'dont think that it's like that. I have not seen YouTube taking action on it's own over its users. But it is quite clear that it may be due to some of the users who are giving complain or may due to the content of you tuners.

I really don't know if YouTube is trying to take action against cryptocurrency channel but am sure in future they will also adopt crypto and will start their payments with crypto too.

I also don't think that YouTube is trying to go against cryptocurrency because crypto is so popular and people from all over the world will support crypto. In that case, everyone uses YouTube to learn the workings of crypto. YouTube will not go against crypto.

Yotutube has been restricting channels that talk about cryptocurrencies for some time and do so without leaving some kind of explanation why it prohibits this issue on its platform but I think it does so because cryptos lend themselves to scams and online fraud unfortunately

I dont think Youtube has anything against cryptocurrencies. The sad truth is that many Youtubers are running scams through fake giveaways and scam offers or to get referrals. Due to this many content had been flagged as scam in Youtube. There were also big youtubers selling unregistered securities which forced Youtube to filter contents relating to cryptocurrencies.

No according to my knowledge I don't think that YouTube is going against cryptocurrency but some of the users who are posting the spams related to the cryptocurrency which is beyond the policy of the YouTube so mostly the videos of such users get deleted but YouTube has been always supported cryptocurrency and it has played a great role to make more users of it.

Well i read and saw some actual events happening live at specific known and famous youtubers that would produce such content videos on Youtube.

 

Basically one of the most iconic users like Doug Polk quit from doing such videos but no given reason was made.

Probabily because of it. I just can't find the real statements from Youtube rather than comments on public forums and so.

I don't think youtube is against the cryptocurrency but the scams and fakes about the cryptocurrency are a lot in the youtube. So, I think youtube is trying to help us from scams and about the fake news.

In my humble opinion it is something the same as you said, l don't find any information about that YouTube is against cryptocurrency or something else. Maybe YouTube helps us to fight with scammers.

Sir Some companies still think that blockchain is a huge threat to their business, Like theta is a threat to YouTube. But not withstanding they will still succumb to the power of blockchain. I was thinking the same but lately they begun temporarily banning youtube accounts that are connected with official crypto websites as bitcoin.com. Also youtube seems to be reducing the monetization. I don't know what they are doing exactly but certainly does look like they are having major problems. Hackers have created bot nets with tens of thousands of stolen accounts and somehow youtube doesn't notice.

I think it has something to do with it! Because then YouTube would not block ads and videos that contain cryptocurrency, because it somehow makes the situation worse! Perhaps this is a state secret?

I think that YouTube has blocked some videos that contain misleading content and that are aimed at attracting some people to invest in some fake currencies, and therefore they violate the rules of YouTube and this is a good thing, I think.

I don't think some thing like that had happened because recently I watch a short video of Crypto related in YouTube channel.

Okay let's even assume it has happened, to me still I don't think doing so will impact much more negative effect on Crypto currencies because the way Crypto currencies is gaining much attention from the public especially in this year of 2020. Were everyone was stranded at home so many have took the advantage of joining the world of crypto currencies to be making good amount of income to support their living standard.

Maybe they tried to do that but they can't because there are youtube channels of cryptocurrencies which are active and they have millions of viewers! I don't think if they can do that.

As youtube if one of the most popular social platform and as we all know that crypto is only advertised through social media, i think that it will be very bad for crypto if youtube stops cryptocurrency videos.
