In 2016, the halving of bitcoin happened, but the significant rise in price did not take place until 2017, so I suspect that the rise in the price of bitcoin will be 2021 or 2022.

When bitcoin goes up other coins goes up because bitcoin is the main in the pair of most coins, in case of halving, people wont be trading, they will be holding.

This is what I have observed and I also predict. Till the halving bitcoin will rise and rise with no significant effects on other coins, excluding eth and the top three or top five. After the halving, most would dump bitcoins, and will invest in altcoins, which will rise the prices of most altcoins, and probably increase the total market cap as well, but remember they are all trying to take profit, so after bitcoin dump, it will be altcoin dump.

Honestly I only see the other coins as trading opportunities to increase my Bitcoin and to manage to have 1BTC at some point. I don't expect the rest crypto besides a few exceptions, to ever dethrone Bitcoin. At least not the ones we have now. So with a new bullmarket we all think that Bitcoin can make a rally of 10x-20x. The altcoins have shown that they can't gain much dominance right now, so I'm guessing that Bitcoin dominance will fluctuate between 50%-75%. If we get adoption we will see the altcoins that advertise the most fly with rises of 50x-1000x depending on their currency price. This demands a repetition of the fomo circumstances we've noticed in 2017. We need to be ready to position in cases of possible Bitcoin fork events and possible altcoin rallies.

Good question, some people will sell their alts for btc sure, depending the strenght of the community hodling price can hold against bitcoin or dive in bitcoin but keep the same value in usd.

 

To the other question, we kinda are in a bull market already as we have seen the bottom. Bullrun doesn't need to be parabolic to be one.

After the event of Bitcoin halvening, I think the prices of Altcoins also starts to reach the peak because the market kind BTC would already have the highest prices due to the less supply of BTC in the market. You can expect the increased prices after halvening.

I think that the prices of other coins will fall by 10-15%, and if the price of bitcoin starts to grow after halving, these coins will also grow with it and vice versa.

The things is, bitcoin halvings always affect the while Crypto coins as this period alwys bring in up very highs on Crypto coins which respond positively to the price movement of the bitcoin. That's why we hardly see any coin which was during the last halving, still having to exceed their past ATH

They won't fall in value, those large coins you have that could be a boost of your profits, because whenever bitcoin rise, they all follows, so don't underestimate bitcoin

For me, I see that all cryptocurrencies are affected by the rise or fall of bitcoin, and this is what clearly appeared when bitcoin was affected by the Corona epidemic. All digital currencies were affected by it and declined significantly, and when bitcoin improved, the cryptocurrencies improved with it.

If bitcoin halving will show a postive impact on its price and with the massive rise in the price the other crypto coins will also be affected but it depends upon the situation of such coins like some altcoins are now dominating the digital currencies so hope that some positive impact could be seen on those coin also.
