Can you share which exchange is it?

Exchanges which I use/used have auto withdraw and of course if is some transaction with large amount they have to confirm that.

I think almost all exchanges now have automatic withdrawals, especially if they are large and well-known exchanges. maybe only a small exchange and a small volume still apply manual withdrawal

yep I don't like the exchange manual withdrawing too, it takes hours and worst takes days. Better to use binance or yobit the processing is so fast.

 Manual withdrawal in the Exchanges is somewhat difficult since they are all automatic, but known Exchanges are very fast,this depends on the currencies, BUT in effect, there are Exchanges that take longer than they should but I assure you it is by Lack of liquidity, low payment in mining, etc. There are Exchanges that are really rubbish and that is why they offer low rates or cheat with false volumes or misleading prices, be careful.

Are you sure about that and which exchange is that? There really is no point in an exchange running manual withdrawal of funds knowing the competition out there. OP was not explicit about the delay he experienced, but I want to believe it was not as a result of manual approach and could be congestion of the network.

Nowadays the all things are getting automated. So the exchanges also. Most of the exchanges are made their withdrawal system automated. This is very good. Otherwise it takes a lot of time to process the withdrawal by manually. This make the transaction fast. Them time that takes is for the Blockchain confirmation. This is not under control of exchanges.
