Right now, any company who wants to implement cryptocurrencies as a payment method (there is no withdrawal of virtual goods in video games!) in their games has two options. They either do it themselves and face the monetary penalties if the miner's fee goes up or they have to hire a third-party contractor to implement cryptocurrency payments. And besides, gamers aren't particularly interested in cryptocurrencies except for the concept of mining bitcoin ("cause everyone's going to get rich from bitcoin mining!" they hear on Youtube.)

you can see what happen to fortnite and monero, they started accepting monero as payment but then epic games says that was an error LoL

Did something like this really happened? LOL, they must have smelled something that made them realize they won't profit from it much. If there is a news article particularly about it, can you share it with us?

I haven't tried it myself, like I said, but maybe it works like that. It may also work like earning virtual gold or its equivalent inside online RPGs which can be directly converted to crypto coins. BTW, I tend to play more RPGs so this "Sword and Magic EOS" game is kinda pulling a tug on me. I might try this one of these days when I feel like it.

As a result, black markets for ingame items has sprouted. Anyone can guess what sometimes happens there, if they haven't experienced it already.

 

There are already some companies that actually promote selling ingame items and game gold/coins to real currencies, but right now this isn't the norm yet AFAIK.

 

If a solution can be found where everyone is satisfied with this issue, then online gaming would become challenging, fun AND profitable. It would be even better if this becomes the norm in the online gaming industry. Black markets would become irrelevant this way. And of course, cryptocurrencies can be used as a medium for transactions between one gamer on a part of the globe to another.

One of their options would be creating their own crypto coin. They have a large number of player base so it might work. The main setback of this option would be whether or not those players will bite that notion. If it proves to be a success, those gaming platforms can become a gateway for gamers to learn more about cryptocurrencies.

Both of them was Interrelated, for example, the preferred transaction tool used to make transactions for some items or services with other gamers is usually bitcoin or other crypto besides that the transparent ecosystem being another answer.

Why not? Cryptocurrencies shouldn't be limited to "the field of money and the linking of useful technical networks" as you said either. If there are areas where money can be used, we should try to make cryptocurrencies not lose to the fiat.

That would be a great idea. But for now, converting your tournament winnings into crypto would be basically the same thing (you just have to convert it yourself though) if you plan to fiddle around with it in trading, investments and the like.

Because as we see in the current period, the use of cryptocurrencies in games and gambling has spread more than any other field, and the blockchain technology can be used in many areas. The level of security offered by Blockchain does not exist in any other technology, so why waste this great technology on games and gambling? And do not benefit from its wonderful features.

I still think it is a waste to not use crypto in other applications. Online gaming is surely just one of those things, and there are plenty of other fields where blockchain technology can be applied. It just so happens that some of the folks who work on developing crypto may have also played computer games in one way or another; and they may have an inkling that online gamers, most of which are techno savvies as well, would be more open to the idea of applying crypto to online gaming than most other fields of expertise.

I was anxious because it already happened, although there are already RPG games that, their coins or gold are commercial, they do not have cryptocurrencies if they incorporate the crypto world and the games this would be heaven, you could earn money while you are distracted even though you do not have to leave out the  trade that trains us psychologically.

I believe the integration of cryptocurrencies into video games may make perfect sense for gamers.

A lot of gaming apps and devices are allowing crypto currencies as their purchases. That's how they are actually evolving the network into the crypto currencies. The gaming sector is actually quite spread all over the world. That's why maybe they did the right thing to combine the crypto as their purchasing medium. Soon all the apps will also use the idea.

I don’t know who has cryptocurrency mixing for electronic games. But it is a good idea, and I liked the tastier from the users, and the tad started from the developers by imitating the idea and merging it with their applications to attract new users. I've never relied on her because she's just wasting time, even though she's lazy I do not mean to insult anyone
